Are You Lucky? by Marie T. Russell

"He's so lucky!" "She always wins!" "I'm just not lucky!" Do these statements sound familiar? Have they come out of your mouth at times? Do you believe that luck is something that happens to some and not to others? That some people "have it" and others don't?

What is luck? Webster's Dictionary tells us that luck is: "the seemingly chance happening of events which affect one." So luck is not haphazard -- it is a "seemingly" chance happening of events.

We are aware, metaphysically, that we draw to us those people and events that we are really meant to have in our lives. This may appear to be bad luck as in the case of an injury. Yet we attracted those circumstances for the lesson (gift) they brought. The same goes for good luck. We were willing to believe and open to receive so "good luck" came to us.

Life is what we make it and so is luck! If you are willing to believe, really believe in miracles, then they will take place in your life. The Master Teacher Jesus said, "By your faith, ye shall be healed!" The belief comes first, then the event (miracle or luck) comes after.

So I would suggest that you can choose to believe in luck but not in the fact that it falls indiscriminately where it chooses. It comes to those who are willing to have miracles in their lives. The doubting Thomases have a billboard out in the ethers that says "Detour". The "Luck" may be headed their way, but is detoured because of lack of faith and trust.

To believe in luck you must believe in your own "deservability". You must be willing to experience miracles and to have "unexplainable" happenings in your life. If you constantly are looking for the rational, logical explanation for events, there will be no room for "lucky" miracles in your life. As someone said: Expect a miracle -- make miracles happen.

How does one make miracles happen? By demanding them, that's how. Many times we put in our requests to the Universe/God/Goddess as if we were beggars. We ask pleadingly, not really believing that we either deserve or will receive what it is we ask for. We think the odds are against us. And for that very reason we may not get what we ask for.

I've found that when I demanded something from the Universe, almost commanded as a matter of fact, I always got what I wanted. I recall that in the Bible, Jesus commanded the waters to be calm. He didn't say, please would you, if it's ok with you, if it's no bother. He commanded! And he had no doubt that his desire would be fulfilled.

A friend told me of her experience. The rain was coming down almost in a deluge one day as she needed to go out to an appointment. As she didn't want to get wet, she stood inside watching the rain, wondering when it would stop. Then she felt that she would make it stop. And she loudly commanded the rain to stop. And lo and behold, it did instantaneously.

Have we ever demanded from the Universe what we wanted? How many times have we said, I want this and I want it NOW! Perhaps we need to get out of the pleading helpless infant mode, and really request we want -- not in a begging or manipulative manner, but clearly, and with intent, command the Universe to give us what we ask for.

I remember on one occasion doing that very thing. I was tired of going from relationship to relationship -- six months here, one year there -- and not finding the "love of my life". One evening as I was getting ready to go to a friend's birthday party, I realized I was tired of searching for Mr. Right. I found myself telling God that I'd had enough; that if I was meant to have a relationship, the "man of my dreams" better be at the party. Well... Sure enough, I met a man at that party who later became my husband.

We have been told, "Ask for what you want." Yet at times we have not asked, or we asked not believing that we would receive. It is as important to ask as to believe. And it is important to ask clearly, knowing that we deserve to receive the best. You can even say: "I ask for this or something better." Then trust, don't hope, that it will come. Hope still denotes lack of trust... I hope this will happen. Instead of: I'm sure, I trust. You see the difference?

Another issue is one of deservability. Sometimes we do not believe we truly deserve blessings, love, riches, whatever... After all, we recall some of the times we were "bad" and because of our ingrained belief in a punishing and avenging God, we don't really believe that we deserve what we are asking for. We must reprogram ourselves with deservability: "I am worthy!" "I deserve the best." " I deserve love."

The other day, as I thanked someone for something they had done, their reply was "You're welcome, and you are worthy!" That stopped me in my tracks as I realized that for many of us, receiving is an issue... whether it is about receiving a gift, a favor, a compliment. Someone says "You did great!" and we tend to brush it off "It was nothing." Sound familiar?

In order to receive, to be "lucky", we have to know that we are worthy! Remember, you are a "child of God", a child of the Universe, a divine creation. Of course you are worthy of all the blessings that exist on this planet. You are worthy! You deserve the best... even if you are not a perfect angel. No one is perfect! Perfection has nothing to do with deserving goodness in your life.

Be willing to trust that there is a Divine Purpose and Divine Consciousness that is greater than what you can envision. Be willing to say YES to life, to love, and to miracles -- and then you'll be one of the "Lucky" ones, too! Remember, your luck is what you make it!

God's will is mine

I had to share this article. I felt it was very empowering...especially to BE living the will of God and not from fear.

God's Will Is Mine! by John Randolph Price

The phrase "thy will be done" in the Lord's Prayer is a statement of resignation for many, the calling down of a power to do something that may not be what we had in mind. It's as though we're saying, "Since I can't have what I want in life, I guess I'll have to settle for what God wants." And in some cases, there's a little tinge of fear there. After all, we were brought up to believe that God punishes us for our sins, and that the will of God must contain some form of suffering and sacrifice for us. No wonder so many people live in a state of apprehension, futility, and fatalism.

And there's the opposite side of the coin. We've been told to be careful what we pray for because we might get it. In other words, "My will be done." A Course In Miracles states it this way:

The very fact that the Will of God, which is what you are, is perceived as fearful, demonstrates that you are afraid of what you are. It is not, then, the Will of God of which you are afraid, but yours.... You do not ask only for what you want. This is because you are afraid you might receive it, and you would.

But now we see that there is only one will, and how could it be otherwise? The whole universe of Cosmic Being individualized its consciousness as the Selfhood of each one of us, and nothing was left out of the individualizing process. We are the will of God. "I and God are one; all that God is, I am."

This lesson helped me understand that the burning desires of my heart born of love represented the one common will pushing on my consciousness to express. God's will is peace and joy, radiant wholeness and well-being, creative success and abundant prosperity, right relations and harmony. Is that not our will, too? There is only one will.

As I was writing my interpretation of this lesson, I received the Quarterly Letter written for subscribers by my good friend, author and spiritual teacher Walter Starcke. Here is an excerpted portion from a section titled "On Demand Prayer":

There comes a time when after days of struggling to turn things over to our Higher Consciousness, after releasing all judgment, after forgiving everyone and everything involved, if the roadblock has not been removed, the time has come for us to demand that it be. If we really believe we are one with God, then always waiting on God, always being patient, always turning it over to God, as though we have no say in the matter, has to eventually come to an end. Passivity can be a form of doubt. Demand affirms oneness.

There comes a time when petitionary prayer is a denial of our claim to be One with God. Petitionary prayer always has an intimation of fear, always remains an acknowledgment of duality. At one point, petitionary payer can be like programming the computer, but to get results the computer has to be turned on by demand.

Certainly, if you are operating out of ego, and if you have not exhausted all other means, the condition has not been met for your will to be on demand. But there comes a time when you must affirm your union by demanding that a situation break, a healing take place, or clarification become present.

Love, and then, demand. Love God by affirming that God is the only power, and then demand that that power, that omnipotence, be done because of your joint partnership, because you are taking responsibility for being a co-creator with God.

Your prayer should not be "thy will be done," as though there is a question or doubt, as though something apart from yourself has to be called upon. It should be, "Thy will is done, because I affirm, because I demand it."

Let's realize the importance of the Code in this particular step. I am as Jesus. He said in John 11:41-42, just before the raising of Lazarus, "Father, I thank thee that thou has heard me. And I know that thou hearest me always. . . ." This was the recognition of the oneness of Spirit and soul, the one Mind and the single will, knowing that even before the call was made, the answer, the power, was given. Thy will is done because I call it forth. And the call here was that Lazarus be raised from the dead.

While we may not have accomplished such miracles yet, I'm sure that we can look back on our lives at those times when we spoke the word, that divine order be established or that a road block be removed. We were not asking God to do something that wasn't already being done. No, we were taking an action that caused a shift in our consciousness, which put us back into alignment with the one will.

I recall a time back in the 1970s when everything seemed to be in a tangled mess, and I sent forth the call to be freed from it. This demand broke the ego-grip, and the answer came quickly as an opportunity presented itself to move to another city and take an executive position with a new firm, which in time led to the forming of The Quartus Foundation and the writing of my first book, The Superbeings. The one will-in-action brought harmony out of chaos. "Thou shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee, and the light shall shine upon thy ways." (Job 22:28 )

Jesus asked, "What do you want me to do for you?" (Mk. 10:51) In the interplay between him and the blind man, can we see the same thing happening between our consciousness and the Divine Self within? What do you will?' Decree that all blocks in consciousness be removed, and then go forth as the will of God to heal, multiply provisions, and bring everything in life up to the divine standard. Be as Jesus!

"When the light comes and you have said, 'God's will is mine,' you will see such beauty that you will know it is not of you. Out of your joy you will create beauty in His name, for your joy could no more be contained than His."

A Spiritual Treatment Using the Power of Will

It is my will that every obstacle to a whole and complete life be removed.

If there is a false belief in scarcity, I decree that it be dissolved now.

If there is a lie made manifest as a physical malady, let Truth replace it now.

If an error pattern exists from judging others and is outpicturing as strained relationships, I demand that it be eliminated now.

If wrong thinking has resulted in failure, it is my will that all such thoughts be corrected now.

I am ready and willing to live a rich, whole, loving, and successful life, which is my divine birthright.

God's will is mine!

This insight goes to another level

Hello all...

This past Thursday I had a co-host on my show by the name of David Webber. All of my shows are at least very good, some are great, and few are very special.

Immediately after the show with David I thought it was a very good show, but over the weekend I realized it was actually a very special show. During the show we talked about "choice" or "choosing" to do something.

I was blown away by what this guy was saying, along with the insights I was receiving while I was listening to him. This weekend as I thought about it... it made sense.

If you can wrap your mind around this it will rock your world.

Hint: "Choice" or "choosing" is not necessary.

What do you bring to the table?

I don’t consider myself some kind of prophet that can see the future, but I will tell you that I know we can create our future in the present moment. My gut feeling is that we are as a global community transitioning into another paradigm or a different reality and far different from what it currently is.

The mindset or way of thinking that supposedly “worked” the last 30-50 years is no longer viable for today or tomorrow, or for any day coming.

If we sit idle and watch everyone else decide what are our new world is going to look like and even feel like, then those that do must also choose not to voice their displeasures about how they dislike what is going on in their lives in the new future, because the decision was made to “wait and see what happens” instead of making a conscious effort.

If you would like to be included in the process of what the new reality will look like, find out what your innate gifts, strengths, and talents are, because that is the value you will bring to this world.

By bringing and using your unique value you consciously add to the process or the shift we are all going through. This transition is going to happen whether you decide to BE a part of it or not.

This is your opportunity to stop recycling all the junk you may have going on in your Life!

Now is the opportunity to contribute to the collective consciousness to make a difference.

Come from your Heart without an agenda.

BE the Light that others desire to see.

Several years ago when I was beginning to awaken I had a great thirst to understand how man and the Universe co-existed. So I attended seminars, workshops, had mentors, and signed up for many, many ezines and newsletters.

At some point it became information overload but I didn’t decide to do something about it until the early part of 2006 when I was ready to finally let go of the fear of possibly missing some vital information.

One of the things I did was cut down the amount of newsletters I subscribed to going from about 20 to about 8 of them. I’ll be honest that was a difficult process. Of the remaining 8 there is about 4 that I am still currently subscribed to, one of them is Alan Tutt’s newsletter, he is part of the reason of where I am at today.

Alan continues to progress and move forward, and also has a thirst for understanding how things work in this Universe. It becomes almost natural for him to present fresh ideas to his List because of his thirst for knowledge and his willingness to share it with others.

After each show I send a survey to the co-host of the show so that I may get some insights regarding the show and for future shows. A co-host by the name of Gloria had suggested that I have a gentleman by the name of Santhan Naidoo who handled the “internet stuff” for her to co-host a show with me.

Gloria raved about this gentleman named Santhan, so I went for it and e-mailed him and asked him if he would be interested.

A couple of years ago my wife and I were attending services that one of my mentors at the time was having, and during this one service we met Emalani. After speaking with her for a few minutes I soon realized how in tune or connected she was with Spirit.

Granted…whether we know it or not we are all connected to Spirit, but Emalani seemed to have a different connection than most. She seemed to be able to pick up on things that others didn’t sense.

It is that extra sense that intrigues me about Emalani and her willingness to help others. Either intentionally or unintentionally she has been through many experiences that will help her to guide others, especially to move forward in and with Love.

It is BEing in that Love energy that I felt that she should be part of this series of shows, to guide us to shift the energy within us that will ultimately shift our eternal reality, and it all comes from the Heart.

About 2 ½ years ago I was guided to go to a spiritual association in San Diego and if I remember correctly it was the reopening of the church that was just completed. During the service there were several guests or speakers that stood up and spoke to the congregation about the reopening and what the church meant to them.

There was a lady who stood up and spoke, and her presence reminded me of an Elder. I realized as I was listening to her that she was someone special and I made it a point to get to know who she is.

My wife and I went to a weekend seminar in San Diego a few months ago where the speakers were of a high level magnitude. Both my wife and I came home with a higher level of awareness. But the interesting thing about that weekend was there was gentleman in the back of the room who kept asking questions and sharing his insights.

I wouldn’t call him disruptive but he definitely made his presence noticed. Finally, I leaned over to my wife and told her I have to meet this guy and at the next break I went up to him and introduced myself, and told him “I was intrigued by him and would like to have him on my radio show”, his name was Nick Arrizza.

Over 10 years ago I began a personal quest to move on from real or imagined limitations going on in my Life.

In August 2002 I had an accident that caused me to heal physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, it also accelerated my desire to understand how man and the Universe co-exist.

Three years later in August 2005 I was guided to go to my office at home and write a couple of paragraphs on three different sheets of paper. I remember reading what I had written and thinking to myself this is “crazy, life can’t be this easy!”.

Eventually those paragraphs on those three sheets of paper became steps to a simple process that are Now called The Titus Concept.

The steps can be used in any area of your Life, but for my first book I decided to use them to guide others regarding money. So my first published book that was released in May 2006 was called The Titus Concept Money For My Best and Highest Good.

I continued to raise my level of awareness through mentors and spiritual guidance that I was being given. As my insights introduced me to a greater understanding, they confirmed that we are the ones who place limitations on ourselves by the false “truths” we have been influenced by or even accepted.

I have been blessed to continuously move forward and as I do…I also share the insights with thousands of others worldwide with my newsletters, speaking engagements, radio shows, and books.

BEing The Titus Concept is my newest book and in other posts in this blog you can read all of the endorsements that came in from seemingly everywhere.

But, here is the bottom line…

Making a Life or a living?

The difference between making a Life or making a living is enough that it means whether or not we live in fulfillment of our Heart’s desires.

I am making a Life by raising the level of awareness for all those who will listen, which in turn is fulfilling my desire to shift the focus away from fear based values.

It is ok to make a living if that is what you desire, but I prefer to make a Life, it is part of what keeps me going and moving forward.

The Sequel's Not Equal

Movie theatres are glutted with follow-ups to blockbusters of previous years, like Men in Black 2, Austin Powers 3, and Star Wars 5. The business savvy behind a sequel is plain: if the masses paid millions to see the original film, they will flock back and pay millions more to see the next generation.

The thing about sequels, however, is that they rarely measure up to the original. I saw American Pie 2 and Scary Movie 2, two films whose ancestors were clever and hilarious. Unfortunately, the follow-ups suffered from rubber-stamp-itis, and I walked out of the theatre feeling hungry for the original sparkle.

Like movies, there are two ways to live a life: hiding out in history, or dancing on the cutting edge. History is safe, but reeks of regularity. The cutting edge seems scary, but it bestows life. You can copy what has been done, and in some cases you may succeed financially -- but at the same time you wither spiritually. Herein lies the challenge -- and invitation -- to a true creator.

After his original song Don't Worry, Be Happy became a mega-hit in the late 1980's, singer Bobby McFerrin spent several years touring the world performing the tune. And he could have gone on, except for one thing -- he got bored. "There was no life in performing the song any more," he admitted. "I was cheating my audiences and myself." So he stopped. Bobby took a few years off, developed his relationship with his children, studied with acclaimed cellist Yoyo Ma, and created an entirely new form of musical expression with an avant-garde group he called "Synchestra." I saw Bobby perform with Synchestra, and the show was electrifying. Although the audience waited and hoped to hear McFerrin perform Don't Worry, Be Happy, he never did. Way to go, Bobby.

Oprah Winfrey had to walk through the same initiation. After consistently winning Emmy Awards for her popular talk show for many years, Oprah decided it was time to take the program to a new level. "I had to move from a format based on dysfunction to one of self-actualization." When she told her producers she wanted to found her material on spiritual growth, they warned that she would lose her audience and sponsorship. She did it anyway. Now her show is more popular than ever, still garnering Emmys regularly. More important, Oprah can live with herself.

You can carve a career cranking out cookie-cutter products, but you cannot carve out a life that way. The only thing more important than making a living is making a life. Oliver Wendell Holmes suggested that anyone over age 60 change careers every few years. Why? Newness, challenge, and exploration bestow life force, and life force keeps us young and healthy. Unless you keep doing your work newer and better, you are dying in your profession. If you are not regenerating, you are degenerating.
I often speak at churches on Sunday mornings where I deliver a talk at each of two or three services. I rarely give the same talk at each of the services. I tried that once and felt bored. If a speaker feels bored, the audience doesn't stand a chance.
I heard about one famous speaker who delivered the same lecture, word for word, wherever he went, for many years. One morning he showed up at a large church to deliver a sermon to a thousand eager listeners. He had flown a long distance to get there, and he arrived minutes before the service. Ten minutes into his talk, the fellow began to slow down the pace of his lecture, and there grew gaps between his sentences. Then gaps between his words. Finally there was a long pause that went on for over 30 seconds. The lecturer fell asleep during his own address! Finally the resident minister gracefully tapped him on the shoulder. He awoke with a start, harrumphed, and continued his sermon from the word where he had left off.

The story is told about a young boy walking along a church corridor with his minister. The boy tugged at the minister's sleeve and asked, "Excuse me, Reverend -- What are those gold plaques on the wall with people's names on them?"
The minister looked down at the child and soberly told him, "Those are the names of people from our church who died in the service."

The child thought for a moment and asked, "Was that the 9 o'clock service or the 11 o'clock service?"

Take care that you do not die while performing your service. Someone asked a famous minister "What is the secret of your success?" His answer was simple: "I just set myself on fire and people watch me burn."

There is new fire in every day, and if you catch hold of it, you will brighten the lives of everyone you touch, beginning with your own. The greatest gift you have to offer is your presence, which you have only when you are present.

What in the World Are You Doing? by Chris Widener

I want to talk with you about leaving an impact legacy. "What is an impact legacy?" you may ask. It is how you impact people and the world around you. You see, many people glide through life and do not make much of an impact. That is unfortunate. Others though, those driven by a purpose and passion for living, are continually making the world a better place and making an impact wherever they go. That's what I believe you want to do.

In order to help you reflect on this during this week, I want to ask you a question: What in the world are you doing?

Here is the typical life - typical, though not everybody does it this way. But for the most part, people's lives generally go something like this:

You're born
You eat and sleep
You play with toys
You go to school
You play little league
You go to school
You learn to drive
You go to school
You leave high school
You go to more school, but you pay for it now
You get a job
You get married
You buy a house
You have kids
You watch your kids eat, sleep, play and go to school
You work, work, and work
You retire
You die

That's the basic life, isn't it? I know there is more to it, but that is about it for most people.

Here is that question again: What in the world are you doing?

I mean, what are you doing besides the typical "enjoying yourself while you are waiting to die" scenario? What kind of impact are you making?

What I believe sets the successful apart is that they don't just live the average life. They don't just pass time. They make an impact. They have something compelling in their life that drives them - something that gives them an answer when they are asked that question: What in the world are you doing?

I'm helping children.

I'm creating a business that supports many families.

I lead a church.

I am defending our liberties.

I am raising great children.

I'm teaching others to improve their lives.

I help people have fun.

I create memories for people.

In other words, successful people always come down to this:

I make an impact and help other people by (fill in your purpose here).

What in the world are you doing?

If you want to be successful, you need to be able to answer that by describing how you help others. Because if you aren't helping others - if you aren't making an impact - you are just taking up space, eating food and waiting to die.

Here's the question for you to answer this week and what to do with your answer:

What in the world are you doing?

If you know, then you are good to go - live it and make an impact!

If you don't know, then maybe you need to reflect on what you are doing, what your life is about, and how you can explode the mundane bubble you may be living in!

The world needs impact makers - so live to be one!

I Don't Care What They Say
by Marie T. Russell

How many times have you been hurt by what someone said about you? How many times have you doubted your self-worth because someone criticized you, either to your face or 'behind your back'?

Why do we react with such self-doubt or indignation when someone criticizes us, or says negative things about us?

I find that our reaction reflects our negative and limiting beliefs about ourselves. If someone said something 'bad' about you and you knew completely within every cell of your body that it was untrue, it would not bother you. You would simply shrug it off and it would roll off of you like water on a duck's back. The reason criticism upsets us is that we also, somehow, somewhere, deep within us believe it to be true -- or at least we wonder if it might be true.

Now your mind (ego) may rebel at this thought. Of course you don't believe such nasty things about yourself. But think back... How many times have you called yourself names when you made a mistake? Do you recall telling yourself how stupid you were? I know that on occasion when I have made an error, I would hear myself muttering 'You're such a idiot!'

So when someone says something 'negative' about you, use the opportunity to eradicate the same (or similar) belief you have about yourself or others. The other person's opinion does not matter in itself. It may simply reflect whatever judgments and feelings they have about themselves. But that does not concern you. Your only concern need be with how their statement reflects sub-conscious beliefs you have about yourself.

What I feel we need to do when someone 'badmouths' us is to first look at our reactions. That is what matters here. Not what the person said, not why they said it, not what we can say in our defense. What is important is our reaction. Does it anger us? Does it hurt us?

If your reaction is one of anger or hurt, be aware that anger and hurt are the ego's way of defending itself. So ask yourself, 'Where in my past have I heard this statement about myself? What belief has my subconscious accepted about me? Where does this hurt come from? Who can this belief be traced back to? What belief do I carry that resonates with what this person has said about me?'

Whatever negative statements someone makes about you may connect to some deeply hidden feelings of guilt that you have. Only you can uproot those beliefs you have formed and accepted throughout the years.

Ask yourself again and make a list: 'What are the things, even the tiny things, in my past or present that I feel guilty about?' And then write whatever trivial thoughts come to mind. Do not judge the thoughts that come up. Write them down even if you think they're stupid, silly, or inconsequential. It may be even some tiny thing like, "I took some candies from my friend when I was little and I pretended someone else stole them." That small action may have translated in your belief system into something like 'I am not trustworthy", "I am greedy", or "Friends can't be trusted".

In somewhat the same way, the thousands of commercials you have seen throughout the years of slim, sexy women (or men) may have translated into a belief that "I'm ugly if I'm not shaped like them." Life's experiences also form our beliefs. A divorce or relationship breaking up may have become a belief in being a failure and being undeserving of love.

Once you have your list of guilts, big and small, ask yourself and write down what belief you have formed from each one. You may be surprised at the results. Be willing to be 100% honest with yourself. The purpose is to look at the beliefs that you have formed throughout the years so you can transform them. Once you have the list of negative beliefs you have formed, then write the most positive belief you can think of to replace or reprogram each limiting belief.

Then really reflect and meditate on these lists. Look deep within and dig out any other beliefs and programs that are supporting those negative statements. Many times, these beliefs were implanted by parents, teachers, or siblings. We blindly accepted them as the truth, since they came from someone older and 'wiser' than us. Yet, it is time to acknowledge the real truth about ourselves and reject any beliefs that deny our true nature as children of the Light.

There is no need to create situations of unworthiness and unhappiness for ourselves. We can take every challenging experience as an opportunity to look within ourselves and clear out old limiting beliefs. Whatever we see 'out there' in the world is a reflection of what is 'in there' within our mind. If you see anger around you, ask yourself what you are angry about. If you see judgment and condemnation, look within and see how you also judge and condemn others (and yourself). It's not about the other person. It's about our own perspective and beliefs.

Dig deep, and you'll find those belittling beliefs and attitudes — then pull out the 'weeds'. You deserve to have a Garden of Eden within yourself and around you, not the weeds of judgment, disharmony, and self-condemnation. Love yourself and pull out the weeds, otherwise they may pop up at the most unexpected times and sabotage the most beautiful situations.

People often wonder why relationships start out so harmoniously and lovingly and then seem to sour as time goes by. A very simple explanation is that any relationship starts out with a clean slate. Then, as two people spend time with each other, each starts to become aware, consciously or subconsciously, of the other's 'weak points' and negative beliefs. Any situation or belief that brings up low self-esteem and self-judgments in one partner will be felt by the other. After a time, the second person starts to believe these untruths as well. For example, the husband may feel he has a very wonderful wife. Yet, if she constantly is putting herself down for being sloppy, ugly, unlovable, etc., then eventually the mate also starts believing these things. Thus, the relationship starts deteriorating because of one person's self-evaluation and judgments.

The partner's attitude becomes a reflection of the self-hate and low self-esteem of the other. Beliefs become stronger when reflected in another's eyes, and thus the "new reality" becomes stronger and can therefore destroy the beauty and love that was there at the beginning.

So, here again, the key is to dig up the limiting beliefs and eradicate them. They are poisonous and can poison relationships, job situations, and life itself. Take matters in your own hands, and only accept and nurture those beliefs that support your perfect health and happiness.

Last night I was interviewed by host Llenar Bragg of No Out There talk radio. The show was very free flowing and we talked about miracles, BEing different, and I even read the last page of my new book ‘BEing The Titus Concept’ about surrendering or letting go.

As I was reading to the audience I felt something tangible of letting go to the point where I was making sure I wouldn’t get all choked up. I knew as I was reading that I was letting go and trusting my book with the Universe.

Given Life

During the Ilumine Ao radio show on Sunday we talked about energies that are available to all of us. Part of it dealt with facing certain directions, nature, and even the wind. Getting closer

10 days to go until my book ‘BEing The Titus Concept’ officially launches. All those around me and even those from far distances are telling me that the book is going be successful. My own Heart even tells me that it is going to do well.

But then my ego gets in the way (though well intentioned) and starts questioning things. Not so much doubt, but is there enough being done at every level. Almost like trying to get me to figure how to do more so that the launch is as successful as it can be.

Create the vacuum for your desires

Support from the other side

It’s getting closer to the launch date and it seems like everyday there is something more to do or another deadline to meet. Yesterday as I was doing the write-up for the sales/landing page I realized that very few people knew what the importance of Friday December 5th is to me other than it being the launch date for my new book ‘BEing The Titus Concept’.

It is my mom’s birthday, who transitioned to the other side this past April. Originally when 1st World Publishing and I had an agreement on the book it was going to be released in January, but the day we signed the contract it was moved to December and I suggested the 5th, to which they said yes.

I have a very strong sense and inner kNowing, along with confirmations that I am being given tremendous amount of support from the “other side” including from my mom for this book.

Are you "alive"?

This morning I am headed over to the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk office to order a copy of my birth certificate. Last night on the Ilumine Ao radio show my co-host was Nick Arrizza and we were sharing our insights on “The Power of The Heart”.

During the show we discussed how coming into this reality we arrive functioning from our Heart, what I call our “original innocence”, having Love or what Nick calls “Life force” fully flowing through us.

We are born perfect, but as we go through our experiences in Life the purity we started with becomes tainted and our false inner “truth” that we accept unconsciously. At some point we start functioning and living basically from fear based values or the ego, and at the same time our Heart is trying reach out to us to keep us from what Nick calls “dying”.

Right now on a local, national, and international levels there is something going on. What is somebody’s perception of what is going on comes from all of their beliefs they have accumulated. There are also some who seem to have the freedom and the kNowing of creating their lives purposely.

Signs of what you desire

As I guide others to remember their own answers or their own inner “Truth”, I also guide them to have the trust and inner kNowing beyond faith and hope.

I understand that sometimes that could be “challenging” when there is something that you desire and it has yet to surface in your reality. That somehow you are to trust that it is already on its way.

Part of what you can do and look for are little and big signs in your daily Life to get the confirmation that what you desire is heading or coming towards you. But you have to BE open to the signs or possibilities so that you will see them.

Sometimes when it seems that I am not getting any confirmations I ask the Universe for loud, clear, and understandable guidance.

Like a new baby

There is something that is meeting head on with all the gloom and doom. Something very subtle, but very powerful. Almost like a riptide, you can’t see it, but when your in the ocean you sure can feel it.

Perhaps we as humanity are realizing our own innate power, both collectively and individually. Perhaps we have decided to move forward from where we come from, the natural state of progression, just like the rest of the Universe.

Maybe we finally come to terms that the mindset we have been functioning from as individuals and collectively doesn’t really work or serve us.

Are we awake Now to know that being completely dependent on anyone or anything is dis-empowering?

It is ok to BE inter-dependent, and even better to BE independent.

Fear is driven by being dependent on something outside of your Self, you give your power to something outside of your Self to which you really have no control of. Which is utterly ridiculous!

But everyday it seems more and more people are taking their power back. Almost as if to say in your world it may be doom and gloom, but in my world I am anxious as a birthday child getting ready to open a new persent.

There is an undercurrent of Light, but you must BE open to feel it. What we are going through are opportunities of a Life time. It is Now that we can create a ripple effect for ourselves and for our future generations.

Just tell your Self:
“I am who I am, I am different, and I am making a difference for my Self, my family and Loved ones, and for all future generations…”

So that one day after you are gone they will reflect back and say you made a difference for best and highest good of all…

If you can receive, accept, and experience what I am about to say your Life will be greatly enhanced. This is not a theory, this is fact! I kNow, I experience it and so do others.

Fact: As you raise your vibration or the energy you emanate the people, resources, situations, scenarios, or circumstances all around you will match that vibration or energy.

For the last few years I have been blessed to have all of the above come into my Life, it has been an amazing ride. But it all happened because I Loved my Self unconditionally, had wiser thoughts, and took inspired action.

The blessings and opportunities that have come and are coming into my Life and even with those around me are amazing. This past weekend I had two gatherings at my home one was for like-minded people, and the other was to be supported, guided, and assisted on my path and message. All of it was a huge blessing for all of us.

But none of this would have happened if I hadn’t taken conscious and deliberate actions such as Loving my Self unconditionally.

Regardless of what is going on in our external reality we all have the opportunity, ability and/or power to bring to ourselves what we desire or require in our lives.

STOP believing this is how Life is!
STOP believing these are bad times!
STOP believing in bad luck!
STOP blaming yourself or anyone, or anything!
STOP faulting anyone or anything!
STOP believing this is how fate would have it!
STOP believing these are the cards you were dealt with!

JUST STOP! and… That would end what no longer serves you for your best and highest good.

Miracles and magic

This past weekend my wife and I had the opportunity to attend Joe Vitale’s Miracle’s Weekend / The Awakening Seminar in San Diego, Ca.

Have you ever attended a seminar and shortly there after the notes you took sit somewhere and collect dust or the aha’s seem to just fade away. Every now and then some of the insights do stick around and remain part of your Life, part of the reason is because we make a conscious effort to hold onto and utilize those insights, and the other part of the reason is because those who are guiding us are expressing “Truth” that resonates within us.

Every single speaker during the seminar expressed “Truth” that resonated, every speaker received an ovation, every speaker motivated me to take notes of great insights, every speaker produced miracles, every speaker to a huge extent shared their gifts, strengths, and talents, it was just simply an amazing weekend of magic…

The Angels on the Economy by Doreen Virtue

Economic conditions are more affected by human beliefs and expectations, than by oil prices or political concerns. This is true for you personally, as well as for everyone globally. Your personal finances are greatly influenced by your expectations and emotions, so it’s doubly important to keep your thoughts and feelings at as high a level as possible.

The angels advise:
Avoid any thoughts or discussions about blaming politicians, countries, or anyone else for your personal or the global economy. Placing blame upon others puts you in a victim role, energetically. This lowers your energies, and has you attract more experiences of victimization.

If you are around someone (including a media report) who is making negative statements about money or the economy, silently (or aloud if the person is open-minded) say: “Cancel, Clear, Delete” or “In spiritual truth, we are all perfectly and abundantly supported. I now open my arms to receive and share plentifully.”

Engage in activities that make you happy! Please don’t scrimp on hobbies or trips, but instead look at them as investments in your happiness, which is the most important influence in your personal economic conditions. When you are happy, you automatically attract and create new opportunities. Your happiness also lifts up the energies of those around you.

Affirm frequently: “God is omnipresent love, wisdom, and creativity. I am forever one with God’s grace and love. I am completely supported in all ways by the love of God. I follow my Divine guidance along pathways of giving of selfless service, and receiving the support that God offers to everyone.”

Keep your thoughts about other people’s finances at a very high level. Frequently affirm that we are all richly abundant in all ways. Avoid any pity thoughts about anyone, but do give donations and support as you are guided.

Don’t worry about HOW your finances will be supported or resolved. Remember that God’s creativity, wisdom, and love is boundless. Your prayers will be answered in surprising, miraculous, and unexpected ways.

Whenever you get a strong intuitive lead to do something positive, follow it without delay! Remember that God frequently answers your prayers by giving you strong and repetitive messages to take action. These messages may come to you as an emotional or physical feeling; an idea or inspiration; a vision or dream; or words that you hear. As you follow this guidance, you co-create the answer to your prayers.

The angels say that we are already collectively seeing economic improvements which will continue into October and November. You can see and experience these improvements for yourself with faith, hope, and trust. Pray for more faith, and it is always given – I especially recommend praying for increased faith, hope, and trust as you’re falling asleep – you’ll be amazed at how much better you feel when you wake up in the morning.

Judgment Is As Judgment Does

It has been tremendously helpful for me to understand the difference between consciousness and spirituality. Spirituality is one type of energy — the energy that links us to our deepest essential nature and to the universal source. Consciousness is the awareness of all of the energies within us. Thus, it is quite possible to follow a spiritual path that is not necessarily a consciousness path. That is, we could work on developing the spiritual dimension of our being, without necessarily developing the other aspects. We can become spiritually developed and totally identified with our "spiritual self". In this case, we would usually disown many other energies, especially the physical and emotional ones. That's why we see so many people who are very highly attuned spiritually, but may be completely out of balance in their physical and emotional lives.

Consciousness, on the other hand, involves developing and integrating all the many aspects of our being, including, but not limited to, the spiritual.

The path of transcendence is a spiritual path, while the path of transformation is a consciousness path. Contacting and developing our spiritual nature is an important part of the consciousness journey, but there are many other important parts as well. The path of transformation involves a powerful commitment to every level of growth.

One of my concerns about the New Age movement is its focus on transcendence rather than transformation. Many are hoping that by developing spiritually, they can rise above their problems and not have to face the challenge of integrating their spiritual and human natures. They feel comfortable and safe exploring the spiritual and mental realms, but hope to avoid the more painful or difficult emotional healing work. Of course, it is a perfectly legitimate option to choose a transcendent path, but it will not bring about profound healing and wholeness for the individual or for the world. And ironically, the peace of mind that so many people seek on the transcendent path cannot be fully achieved by focusing exclusively on that reality.

Feel The Feeling

In New Age circles there is much talk about unconditional love. Many teachers urge their followers to practice forgiveness, be non-judgmental, and love fully without conditions, and many sincere seekers are earnestly trying to follow these teachings. I have a problem with the way these ideas are often presented. Of course, judgments are unpleasant, separating, and uncomfortable for all concerned. Forgiveness is a powerful and healing force for both the giver and the recipient. And there's nothing more blissful than giving and/or receiving unconditional love. However, there is a lot of confusion and misunderstanding about these processes, and much of what is being taught is coming from the transcendent rather than the transformative approach.

Again, we must recognize the difference between our spiritual essence and human personality. As spiritual beings, we are always at one with universal love, which is always unconditional and non-judgmental. The personality, however, has the goal of learning to live in the physical world and get our emotional needs met. On the personality level, we are fundamentally concerned with protecting and caring for the vulnerable child within us; our feelings of love are entwined with our needs for safety, trust, and intimacy. We have powerful defense mechanisms in our personalities that can close off our feelings of love when we don't feel safe.

Rather than denying or trying to suppress these feelings and reactions, we need to respect and appreciate the function of our human personality. It is not by nature unconditionally loving. Much healing can take place when we recognize this as a given and are able to honor both our spiritual and our human nature.

When we feel judgmental, rather than denying those feelings, we need to look deeply into them to discover what is triggering them. Usually, we feel judgmental when we are frustrated because we have not followed our own truth in some way, or because we are having to confront another person who is reflecting one of our disowned selves back to us. So, instead of simply blocking ourselves from experiencing our judgmental feelings, we need to be attentive to the fact that our judgments can provide us with clues for what we need to look at in ourselves; ultimately, they are healing gifts. If we try to suppress or ignore the feelings, we miss the opportunity for learning and consciousness. Condemning ourselves for being judgmental is simply judging ourselves for being judgmental!

Obtaining Knowledge

What stops people from embarking on the transformational path? For many, it is simply a lack of knowledge. They aren't aware that such an opportunity exists, or perhaps they aren't sure how to go about finding it. Lack of knowledge is not the only roadblock on the consciousness path. Another one is fear. We all fear the unknown, of course, and this particular journey certainly is unpredictable in many ways. That's why it is so important to cultivate a personal relationship with our inner guidance. Unless we feel some sense of a higher force working with us, it is simply too frightening to leave our familiar territory.

Many people are afraid of emotional healing work. There are so many misunderstandings and stereotypes about psychotherapy. Unfortunately, there are also many less than adequate or downright harmful therapists and healers, and many people who have had negative, disappointing or downright traumatic experiences with them. So it is extremely important to choose your helpers wisely and carefully.

I have found that most people are afraid that if they begin exploring deep feelings, they will get stuck there and never emerge. When feelings have been repressed and disowned, they feel very intense and powerful, and it is easy to feel that they might overwhelm us forever if we ever give them the opportunity.

However, the facts are quite different. If we move into our healing process at our own pace, without pushing ourselves and with the right support, it is not nearly as difficult as we might fear. Each of us has an internal mechanism that guides the pace of our journey. Once we allow ourselves to experience an emotion freely, we discover that rather than washing us away, the wave of feeling gradually subsides and leaves us with a deep sense of wonderful peace.

Tap Into Love

The key to unconditional love is found in the love our spirit has for our personality. When we can tap into spirit, we can unconditionally love ourselves — including the parts of us that are angry, judgmental, needy, and selfish. Then we naturally feel compassion and acceptance toward others as well. We recognize in them the same human attributes that we have learned to love in ourselves. By loving and honoring our own personality in this way, we gain clear vision about other people's development on the personality level. We can maintain appropriate boundaries, making wise choices about who it's appropriate to get close to. At the same time, through our connection with our own divine essence, we naturally recognize and acknowledge the spiritual being in everyone else, even those with whom we know we must maintain some distance.

Remember that it doesn't really work to try to feel love, or any other feeling. Our feelings are not controlled by our will, and most attempts to assert this kind of power over them leads to denial, repression, and disowning parts of ourselves, or to an expression of feeling that is not authentic.
By acknowledging and honoring any feeling — no matter how "unacceptable" we might have previously judged it to be — we create space for its opposite. So trying to love unconditionally is a contradiction. Unconditional love is some thing that arises naturally when we can accept all our feelings and love all parts of us, including the parts that aren't unconditionally loving.

Financial Alchemy: Create a New Relationship with Money - By Morgana Rae

Your current financial situation is a direct reflection of your inner relationship with Money. If you don't like your finances, something needs to change in your relationship. This is where Alchemy comes in.

Alchemy is the art of transformation. With roots in ancient Egypt and classical Greece, Alchemy comes from a time when there was no distinction between science and magic. The mysteries of matter and consciousness were inextricably linked (as they are again, in today's quantum physics). These ancient studies gave birth to modern medicine, psychology, chemistry, and even Sir Isaac Newton's work on gravity.

The ultimate pursuit of Alchemy was the "Philosophers' Stone," a substance believed to turn worthless metals into gold. While Alchemists through the ages slaved in the laboratory, their metalwork concealed a spiritual process, a Philosophers' Stone which had to be kept hidden from the Church: this was the process of inner transformation. Two principles are involved here: 1) turning lead into gold was an outer demonstration of inner transformation, and 2) the seed of the solution (the gold) was hidden in the problem (the lead).

I invite you to use this article to discover your own Philosophers' Stone -- your key to wealth and inner transformation -- hidden in your relationship with Money.

Before we proceed, let's review some guidelines I adapted from Alchemist tradition:

Rule #1: As it is above, so it is below.
What shows up in your head is going to show up in your life. This article will be using fundamental Relationship Coaching skills to help you transform your relationship with Money from a dead seed into a flowering garden. A seed comes to life as a living, thriving, fruit-flowering plant...in the right environment. So, too, your own prosperity. Your potential for financial abundance is there, waiting for the necessary environment within you. Your relationship with Money is like the soil that feeds or starves your economic growth. As long as you have hidden beliefs that cause you to unconsciously repel Money, perhaps "protect" yourself from wealth, your garden will not grow.

Rule #2: There is no scarcity.
A wealthy client once explained to me how he had overcome poverty. "The amount of Money out there in play every day is limitless, beyond our comprehension. Money is everywhere," he explained. And it's available in proportion to "how big your funnel is to take it in." He had learned to tap into the Source. This relationship supported him.

Rule #3: Consciousness gives you choice.
I assert even a small change in your relationship consciousness can have a huge impact on your material life. You get what you choose, but first you need to know what you're choosing.

How do I know this? I experienced this transformation myself.

My story:
For years I was struggling as a life coach. I had trouble attracting clients who would pay the fee I wanted. I found myself avoiding discussions of Money as long as I could. The whole subject embarrassed me, and my discomfort translated into making clients uncomfortable too. I was "doing" all the right marketing things -- networking, newsletters, sample sessions -- and getting nowhere. I was not making a "grown-up" living.

What was in my way, I wondered? My coach and I took a look at my relationship with Money. What were my stories about Money? What is this entity I'm in relationship with? What's going on with this relationship?

Two discoveries popped out: Money didn't feel safe or reliable, and Money caused separation. (My family would swing between being rich and poor over and over again, and Money was a "reason" for family members not to talk to each other for decades.) If my experience of Money were given personhood, he'd look like a tall, scary, dirty biker who caused fights at parties. This is the kind of guy I'd be watching carefully, always making sure to keep a safe distance. No wonder I wasn't bringing Money into my life!

This was not the relationship with Money I wanted to have. (And it wasn't the relationship I wanted to model for my clients either.) So I created a new paradigm. I fired the biker persona and put a tall, dark, handsome, and romantic suitor in his place. He wore tails and carried a bouquet of red flowers. He wanted to woo me. Can you imagine what it would be like to be wooed by Money? I related to him in a whole new way. This was the guy I wanted to have a relationship with. He loved me. I would do anything to make him happy.

I asked my new Money what he wanted from me so he could stay with me.

Money responded, "Appreciate me. Love me. Stop treating me like a monster."

I immediately saw how I had been treating him like a monster every time I hesitated to state my fee or didn't demand payment. My behavior changed immediately. Over the next week, four people called me out of the blue to hire me as their coach. I could feel my mouth wanting to move in the familiar patterns that would talk them out of the sale. I had to literally bite my tongue and shut up and let them hire me. You don't say no to gifts from your beloved.

Whenever I received a check, signed a new client, came across some unexpected income, I graciously thanked Money for the gift. I wasn't just thanking an abstract concept of abundance -- I was thanking a person who was real to me. And this version of Money was valued and invited into my life.

From then on my business and income kept growing. Within six months I had accrued such a waiting list of clients that I had to add group coaching to my services. I didn't have to look for my new clients; they were finding me. And all I had changed was my inner dialogue with Money.

Now it's your turn:
If you want to improve your financial situation, you must first uncover the negative beliefs that shaped your relationship with Money. Get out some paper and respond to these questions. (Writing creates clarity and speeds your change.)

* What negative things have you heard about Money?

* What are some of the negative ways Money has shown up in your life and in the lives of those around you?

* What beliefs get between you and prosperity?

* Dig deeper and deeper. You may hit several blank spots before you find the deepest beliefs that have truly driven your relationship with Money.

Give Money personhood in relationship to you. If these darkest experiences of Money were a person, what would your version of this Money "person" be like?

Make Money real. Who is this Money villain? Is it male or female? Tall or short? How is Money dressed? How do you feel about this Money?

How does Money feel about you?

Can you imagine that the way you relate to this Money villain could be impacting the way Money is showing up in your life?

End that relationship, baby!

Create a new relationship with Money. What kind of Money person could you open your heart to? Is this a person who lights you up -- who you'd want a relationship with even if he weren't Money?

Negotiate with this new Money:

What does your new Money want from you to make this relationship better? What action are you going to take to demonstrate to Money that you take his request seriously? Make this new relationship real.

Money is like any other relationship; it comes where it's invited and appreciated. It rarely comes when it is chased. It can be your partner if you listen to it. The more you care for this relationship, the more Money you will attract. Here are three final tips:

1) Appreciate Money! When a penny shows up on the sidewalk, thank Money for the gift. Don't worry about denomination; appreciate everything. Think of how good you feel when you are valued for even a small gesture. It's the same for Money. Every time you practice receiving and appreciating, you train the universe to send you more. Show the universe what you value.

2) By now your capacity to receive is growing. You'll notice other stuff creeps in to limit the flow through your funnel to abundance. This stuff may look like clutter, broken appliances, old e-mails, toxic people, time wasters, or other energy drains. Clean house! Make space for what you want by having the courage to release what you don't want. You teach the universe how you want to be treated with every choice you make. And nothing gets the universe's attention like saying "No." It's your quickest ticket to miracles.

3) The most important place to make space for what you want is in your head. Clean out fear and pessimism. Plant love and trust instead. Your thoughts are your seeds, and you can grow flowers or weeds. What do you choose to grow?

Insightful Talk Radio

To be honest this article is partly to promote my new Talk Radio shows, but it is also in regards to where you are at in your Life.

All of your current situations, resources, relationships, circumstances, opportunities, and blessings are coming into your Life due to your level of understanding or awareness prior to this moment. That means all that is going on around you has come about by how you perceive Life and the level of empowerment that you feel within your Self.

Realize that if you consciously choose to do so, you have the ability to shift any area of your Life, if you so desire. But… even if you decided in this moment that it was time to start changing your Life would you kNow how?

It was just announced that Randy Pausch, the Carnegie Mellon University computer scientist whose "last lecture" about facing terminal cancer became an Internet sensation and a best-selling book, died Friday. He was 47.

The innate power or ability we all have...

First let me tell you that the following article by John Randolph Price is a little bit long, but it is worth the read. He provides powerful insights regarding the innate power that we all have and how the Universe functions. Read the article and keep what resonates and discard the rest.

Between 2500 and 1500 B.C. (the dates vary), Hermes Trismegistus, the "scribe of the gods," came on the world stage to tell about the Spirit of the Divine within. In his writings, he implores humanity to "rise from your sleep of ignorance" and to find the Light. He tells us that we have the power to partake of immortality when we change our minds, and he gave us the Seven Hermetic Principles as the way to mastery. They are as follows:

1. The Principle of Mentalism: There is but one Mind, one Power, all Divine. We use the same mind and power in our individual worlds that the All did in creating the universe.
2. The Principle of Correspondence: As above, so below. This shows us that there is a correspondence or analogy existing between things spiritual and things physical -- the same laws operate in each realm. This is truly the secret of manifestation.
3. The Principle of Vibration: In each energy field, there is a vibration of either attraction or repulsion based on the trend of thoughts. These thoughts are both conscious and unconscious, and on each level, creative action is taking place.
4. The Principle of Polarity: Polarity is to think and feel in a certain direction, to bring our thoughts in tune with Infinite Mind, which forms a path for the flow of the divine energy. It is living life according to our highest truth.
5. The Principle of Rhythm: Life is like a pendulum, a swinging back and forth. When we understand this principle, we polarize ourselves at the point of optimum living, thus neutralizing the ups and downs of life.
6. The Principle of Cause and Effect: Every cause has its effect; every effect has its cause; everything happens according to Law. Chance is but a name for the Law not recognized. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.
7. The Principle of Gender: Each individual is both male and female, mind and feelings, objective and subjective, the I and the Me. What the mind impresses on the feeling nature is manifest in the phenomenal world.

In 1335 B.C., Moses brought his esoteric teachings from Egypt in the Exodus. According to Manly P. Hall, "Moses was an accredited representative of the secret schools, laboring -- as many other emissaries have labored -- to instruct primitive races in the mysteries of their immortal souls.... The word Moses, when understood in its esoteric Egyptian sense, means one who has been admitted into the Mystery Schools of Wisdom and has gone forth to teach the ignorant concerning the will of the gods and the mysteries of life, as these mysteries were explained within the temples of Isis, Osiris, and Serapis."

Zoroaster appeared in 628 B.C., to be known as the Persian prophet who taught the truth of the one and only God, a Supreme Being of Good Thought, Beauty, Holiness, Righteousness, Perfect Health, Dominion, and Immortality. Zoroaster believed in the oneness of God and individual being, and that prayers were the "speaking of friend to friend."

Lao-tzu incarnated in 604 B.C., later to found the Taoist religion in China, with its emphasis on living in harmony with the great Universal Impersonal Power. He taught that Heaven, Earth, and man/woman were all created to be in harmony with one another, but we lost our way and miscreated a world of disharmony.

We move on now to about 600 B.C., when Pythagoras -- a Mason, and also considered to be the world's first philosopher - was born. He founded a Mystery School at Crotona in Southern Italy, and his teachings reveal another important thread in the Golden Cord of the Perennial Philosophy, an ancient truth carried forward to this day. Pythagoras taught that God, or Supreme Mind, was the Cause of all things, and since God was all Truth, then the effect of this Cause must be Truth, or Spiritual Reality -- when the individual was in harmony with Cause. He believed that we needn't ask for anything because the Intelligent Power of God was eternally providing all things necessary. Thus, the "secret" of prayer was to be in tune with Infinite Mind.

In 563 B.C., Siddhartha Gautama came forth to become Buddha, the Enlightened one. He believed in universal good will expressed from a heart of love "that knows no anger, that knows no ill will." Gautama understood that lack, limitation, disease, and death are but illusions, not created by God, therefore not real. His Eightfold Path to freedom encompassed right belief, right aspiration, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right thought, and right meditation. As a true New Thought statement, he said, "All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure heart, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him."

In 427 B.C., the Greek philosopher Plato entered the Earth plane. At the age of 49, he was initiated into the Greater Mysteries, the initiation taking place in the Great Pyramid of Egypt. In 397 B.C., he opened a school called the Academy, which became the first university in the history of Europe. Plato put great emphasis on the Ideal Life as a goal toward which people should work. This "Ideal" means that every individual is worthy of a royal life of beauty and nobility -- that nothing is impossible to "Gods in Expression." He also introduced the Christos: the immortal Self endowed with all the qualities of Deity.

Then we had the Master Jesus, an Essene. He was introduced to us in the New Testament, and his statements of Truth continue to shine through the pages. However, as a whole, these books of the Bible, which weren't finalized until nearly A.D. 400, must be interpreted esoterically. As we shall see, they've been rewritten numerous times to prove the church's point of view; yet secretly, enlightened ones have contributed their part and have provided coded instructions reflecting the teachings and philosophy of the earlier Masters. Jesus, the Master of the Law of Love, is shown to be the representative of everyone, our brother in the universal family of God, a Model for our completeness -- spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically.

We're told that we are the light of the world, that we must be perfect as a fact of life, that we are to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons because all things are possible. This is true, for the kingdom of God is in the midst of you. Ye are gods and the Spirit of truth dwells with you, in you. You yourself are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, for you have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God. Christ in you, the hope of glory. You are of God.

In the Pistis Sophia Treatise of the Gnostics, Jesus takes it even further: "Do ye still not know and are ye ignorant? Know ye not and do ye not understand that ye are all Angels, all Archangels, Gods, and Lords, all Rulers, all the great Invisibles, all those of the Midst, those of every region of them that are on the Right, all the Great Ones of the emanations of the Light with all their glory . . . "

The truth was clearly expressed, and with this remembering in minds and hearts, the powers were again released. In the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Edward Gibbon reports that during the first century, the lame walked, the blind saw, the sick were healed, the dead were raised, and the laws of nature were frequently suspended.

But it all changed. In A.D. 180, Irenaeus, Bishop of Lyons, attacked independent thinking and all teachings relating to the oneness of God and man. Believing that a spiritual consciousness and a personal union with God would undermine the authority of the priests, he directed his wrath upon Gnosticism. First he issued his Five Books Against Heresies, followed by a list of acceptable writings -- choosing only those words that supported his demand for a fixed dogma. The shift in mind-direction from within to without had begun, and the innate power of the individual was gradually given to an outer structure and a lower authority.

When emperor Theodosius made Christianity the sole and official religion of the state in A.D. 395, the Institution assumed complete control over individual minds and humanity entered the thousand-year period referred to as the Dark Ages. The feudal system controlled secular life, and the keys to spiritual enlightenment were held by the church leaders. A too-free subjective interpretation of the doctrine, or lack of faith in the state religion, resulted in extreme penalties. And with the constant struggle between the church and the individual, the mastery techniques dealing with freedom from need and the science of forces and forms were temporarily lost. The Western mind was kept "in the dark" until the institutional structure began to crack in the 1500s ... and the eternal principles of oneness and unity began to resurface.

In Europe in the 1600s, the Rosicrucian Fraternity surfaced again and became the center of philosophical discussion. Members of this secret society were known to transcend the limitations of the physical world through their spiritual awakening. They taught that within each individual being was the Supreme Secret of the universe, and that by following the Path of Reality, Truth shall be revealed.

Other secret societies based on the teachings of the Greek Mystery Schools also emerged in England, France, and Germany; and in the 1800s, the philosophical movement known as transcendentalism came into full bloom as the beginning of New Thought in America. The writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson played a significant role in advancing the ancient teachings of Truth. He wrote: "Let us stun and astonish the intruding rabble of men and books and institutions by a simple declaration of the divine fact. Bid them take the shoes from off their feet, for God is here within." Emerson, who had studied the Ancient Mysteries, knew that once these eternal Truths are appropriated by mind, we're no longer controlled by fate. We pass into a higher council chamber and a life of sovereignty.

Emerson said, "Place yourself in the middle of the stream of power and wisdom which animates all whom it floats, and you are without effort impelled to truth, to right and a perfect contentment." To him, prayer was not to "effect a private end" but to establish oneness with God in consciousness and then see the miraculous activity of God at work.

The universe is a spiritual system, conceived in the Mind of God as an idea, and automatically projected into manifestation through mental and spiritual laws. Browning said that we should release the "imprisoned splendor," which is the divine pattern within us.

Do you have doubts or fears?

Last night we had a teleseminar with some very special guests and BEing the host I asked questions that to me seemed relevant to what is seemingly going on in today’s world.

All the questions stemmed with things such as gas prices going up, foreclosures with people’s homes, the economy, relationships not doing well, and even the health situation for many of us.

Each speaker spoke how they are handling this supposed “chaos” in their lives using their own techniques, but the one thing I noticed is that all of us spoke about one common aspect and that is to Love ourselves.

Listen whatever doubts and fears you are having right now and it doesn’t matter what they are, the only way you are going face them, go through them, and get pass them is to trust your Self enough, and the best way to trust your Self to get through these times is to first Love your Self unconditionally. I have been there… and I have been through them.

Whatever you desire or require in your Life whether it is financial, emotional or in health it all comes from within you and it will come at the level that you feel worthy of, so that is why it is so critical for you to Love your Self at the highest possible level, because then your high vibration will bring to you the resources, situations and people to have what you deserve.

“BEing The Titus Concept” will guide you to that high vibration of Loving your Self unconditionally.

A horse that will show you who you are

The following article is filled with so many insights that I felt it had to be shared and posted. If what you are doing is not working, then you must DO something else... because on the other side of whatever "chaos" your going through is the "flow" you deserve.

It's Not About the Horse

If you want to deal with your demons, it's appropriate to make a pit stop at a place as hot as hell -- Tucson, Arizona, in the summertime. It's 100-plus degrees right now -- with dark, ominous clouds erasing the Santa Catalina mountaintops in the distance. It's the monsoon season, which means big storms. But for the five women and two men sitting on hay bales in front of Wyatt Webb, it appears that there are bigger storms brewing.

A sweet, musty smell of horse lingers in the air, and for no reason at all, a 1,300-pound chestnut gelding fittingly named Monsoon rears and tears off in a farting, sweating gallop. This is his way of welcoming people to a new form of therapy that blends horse sense with common sense. Monsoon's massive body, thick mane, and tail fly through the air as he releases a high-pitched scream that rips into your eardrums and rattles your insides.

Wyatt's just as much in awe of this beautiful animal as everybody else is. He tells the group, "That's sheer joy. It's also an emotion that's somewhat foreign to most of us humans on a daily basis."

Perhaps it's time for an introduction.
"My name is Wyatt," he says to the seven people in front of him. "Welcome to the Equine Experience."

By the looks on their faces, these people are ready for an experience. They don't appear to have felt joy for some time. But they miss the feeling, so that's why they're here. They could clearly be elsewhere, but they chose the Equine Experience, which is offered every day of the year at Miraval, one of the top resorts in the world. Even though the people gathered in front of me certainly have the means to be doing something else at this particular point in time, they wouldn't prefer a seat in first class, or a velvet-covered cushion in the lobby of the Four Seasons -- they're right where they belong.

Wyatt starts the session by telling these folks that he's not here to change anybody's life. "I don't have the power to do so," he says. "I don't have your answers. To allow you to think that I do would be a complete lie and a total disservice to you.

"Now I'm certainly not here to argue with or discredit traditional therapeutic modalities. I'm not accusing anybody of doing a shitty job or saying that traditional psychotherapy isn't helpful. But I certainly hope that we can add to whatever already exists in the therapy world as you know it."
Wyatt then shares with them what was told to him by Logan, the counselor who, 22 years ago, helped save his life, his mind, and his very soul. What he said was this: "If you're to achieve the peace, joy, and spiritual fulfillment that you want so badly, it depends upon one thing and one thing only -- your willingness to simply do something different."

So to those clients who have spent half a lifetime in therapy with minimal results, Wyatt smiles and states the obvious: "If the practice that you've been involved with hasn't produced definitive changes, then guess what? It's not working. Maybe what you're doing could be remedied so that you can discover what does work."

Now, even though Wyatt has been a practicing therapist for a number of years, his tools don't involve a leather couch and his helpers don't arrive in suits or high heels. Of course, they wear shoes -- but not the kind they sell at Bloomingdale's.

"You're going to clean some hooves," he tells the group, "and you're going to groom the horse. How you relate to this animal will tell us what you've learned over the course of your lifetime concerning how you relate to all living things. Your basic training has come from learning how to treat people." He pauses and adds, "Remember one thing: It's not about the horse. I mean, sure, I can teach you a few basic skills that will keep you safe in any barn in the world, but what we're here to look at is what you've learned over the course of your lifetime that either works for or against you in your relationships."

He stops for a second and then continues. "Keep in mind that you've been conditioned to be externally focused in all of your relationships. This is one of the true impediments to our being able to learn anything about ourselves. Let me ask you this: How much time do you spend during the day wondering what others are thinking and feeling, and concocting stories about why they're behaving as they do? See, as long as I'm focused on you in such a manner, it will be impossible for me to connect with you because I'm not present with myself.

"So, what I suggest you do is pay attention to what you're thinking and pay attention to what you're feeling. Know that these two things dictate the way you live your life. By focusing your attention internally as opposed to externally, you'll be able to be present enough to connect with any other living thing, which will also cause you to take responsibility for your life and how you live it. Will I judge you? Of course not! But I will observe."

Wyatt promises these people that today he will pay attention. "Ask me for help if you need it," he tells them. "I pledge to tell you the truth, to be kind, but sometimes to be blunt. Together, let's examine the stories you're making up to see how many of them are based in reality. Personally, prior to the age of 36, almost every story I had was based in a lie. But I'd like you to remember that it doesn't take nearly as many words to tell the truth as it does to bullshit somebody."

Here he switches gears, for it's time for a few specifics. "The horses are the same for every person who chooses to be with them. Whichever horse you choose will serve as a mirror to your energy system -- what you think, what you feel, and every move your body does or doesn't make."

He makes it clear that the person dealing with the horse is the one who tells the whole story. And most of the stories he sees have one thing in common: pain. Most of this pain is rooted in self-doubt and fear. For instance, one man in the group says, "I can't remember when I didn't hurt. I think it's the world that messes us up."

"Well," Wyatt asks him, "whose job is it to clean up the mess?"

Then he turns to the audience and says, "We've been imprinted. We're born being called 'bundles of joy.' Well, that's true. Babies generally are full of joy -- they're born happy and remain so unless they're hungry or experiencing some discomfort. Once that's alleviated, they're right back in the joy state. They're at one with everything when they arrive on the planet. They run on pure emotion.

"They don't know what it means to doubt themselves or to be afraid until about five days into the trip, when they begin to soak up the energy of the adults," Wyatt says. "Then they feel the inconsistency. At this point in time, welcome to a world full of scary people.

"Every culture I've ever been subjected to appears to be frightened," he explains. "I've been working as a psychotherapist for 20 years, and if I could boil down every problem that ever walked through any office that I've occupied -- and this includes when I've been alone in the office -- every human being suffers from two things in varying degrees of intensity, two things that are taught to us. They're called self-doubt and fear.

"There's the fear of physical harm and of emotional harm. There's the fear of not being good enough. There's the constant fear of being discovered. In fact, I've done a lot of team building with corporate systems, and what do you think the one thing that CEOs, presidents, and vice presidents of companies don't want the people working for them to know? They don't want anyone to know that at any given moment, they're completely clueless about what they're doing. I've been privy to and a part of this phenomenon by watching everyone run through the world 'bluffing it.' It seems that most people truly aren't aware of what they're doing."

Wyatt's next words take the concept to a deeper level. "Anyone who really wants to grow, expand, and know who they are has to travel uncharted territories all the time. So that kind of person has to live in a world of 'I don't know,' which is scary, but that's the only place where you learn anything. What you always find on the opposite side of fear and self-doubt is joy. Joy is our birthright -- we're born with it. But it gets taken away from us and we have to go back and reclaim it.

"So, what we'll do today is not about discovering who you are. It's about remembering who you are," he says. "End of story."

Wyatt gives the group some things to think about. "Why do we continue to fight with each other? Thousands of years ago, we began with hand-to-hand combat. Then we picked up some stones, which was followed by the fashioning of weapons. Now we have the means to eradicate ourselves from the planet. We even have the audacity to call this 'progress,'" he says. "The problem is that we're afraid, and that's the reason we fight each other. We keep making it about other countries or religions, and it's not. Why can't we sit down and talk about what we're afraid of? We're afraid to tell the truth."

Wyatt shakes his head and mentions that Monsoon solidified this theory for him about a year ago. "One day I was riding him, and I was transitioning from the walk to the trot to the canter. It's called 'changing gaits.' The walk to the trot -- no problem. But even after ten years of riding, the power of that canter still scares me. I tried to push Monsoon into a canter twice, and both times I miscued him. My fear had me off balance -- literally and figuratively. So, I eased back to the trot, and I got frustrated. Like I had done 10,000 times before when things weren't going my way, the tail started wagging the dog, so to speak. I was the friggin' dog, and here we were in a mess again.

"I was about to move into a canter for the third time, and again I felt that I was off balance. This time, I was determined to win. I said, 'The hell with it,' and cued him anyway. Monsoon shifted his massive frame, and I felt his power ripple underneath me." Wyatt pauses and takes a look at his audience, who seems to have forgotten about the prickly hay bales or threatening storm clouds.

"I was so off that most of my weight shifted forward, which in the horse world is called 'throwing the horse on the forehand.' This was his cue to stop. And he did. I flew over his head about 20 feet onto the ground. If I hadn't had a helmet on, it would have killed me. I hit the ground with a bang! People heard it all the way back at the barn, some 40 yards away.
"Somehow in my daze, I managed to get up, checked to see if I was dead, and brushed the dirt and muck off. Meanwhile, Monsoon was looking at me as if to say: 'What the hell are you doing down there?'

"In that humiliating, spirit-crushing, bone-aching, ah-ha! moment, a light bulb went off in my head. I thought to myself, I finally get it. Anytime I'm in a relationship with any living thing and I have the need to win, the possibility for connection and closeness is over. All I ever wanted was that closeness and connection. In fact, I think we're all homesick for it.

"At the time, I wish I'd just been able to get honest enough to back off and go, 'Wyatt, you're off balance. Pull up or you'll get hurt.' But do you think I could even go to that place? I had to damn near kill myself to figure it out. I had this lesson to learn, and my spirit was saying, 'Yes, it's going to be a tough one. So let's go.'

"Thankfully, my spirit also said, 'Put your helmet on, you damn fool, so you can live through it and we can learn it," Wyatt says.

He goes on to explain that he's never had that same issue with Monsoon ever again. "I've had that problem with a few people," Wyatt laughs, "but I've been able to reign it in because when I find myself trying to win, it's time to stop. Because somebody has to lose. This whole culture is set up this way. We've got to win, which means we're going to lose. It means that we cannot even hope to connect with each other." As he gazes at the crowd of onlookers, it seems like they finally get it.

For Wyatt, it's all about connection, and the first step to healing is connecting with a horse. Those who want to connect have issues that include mental, physical, and emotional abuse not limited to marriages on the rocks, parent-child relationships gone bad, and much worse concerns including rape and abandonment.

Now it's time to get to work. The group is brought into a large arena and each person is told to choose one of the six large, inquisitive horses waiting for them. Next to each animal is a small bucket with tools to clean the horses' hooves, and various other grooming utensils associated with preparing a horse for saddling.

Wyatt tells everyone to approach their horse and greet the animal at its shoulder. He takes aside one young man and suggest that he stop rubbing the horse for dear life.

"Try to leave a little fur on the horse, because the sun is gonna come out and I don't want him to get burned," he says quietly to the young man. "You also don't need to sweet-talk him."
"I'm trying to get him to like me so he'll cooperate," says the man.

"So," Wyatt asks, "is this one of your learned behaviors? Is your motto: If I'm nice to you, then you must be nice to me back?"

"I guess I always try extra hard to get people to like me," says the young man. "I figure if I'm the nicest person in the whole room, people will have to be nice to me back."

"Let me suggest to you the fallacy behind that one," he explains. "You're not really being nice to anyone. You're being manipulative. You're only acting nice in the hopes of preventing people from rejecting you. True kindness comes with no charge. Later on, the universe just pays you back."

The mini-dramas being played out on this sandy desert floor can easily become much more serious, though. For example, Katie, a young lawyer whose parents abandoned her and sent her to live in various foster homes is afraid of her horse because she's scared to death of being rejected again.

"If you walk through your fear that something must be wrong with you, then what you always find on the other side is that there's nothing wrong with you. And there's nothing to be afraid of," he tells her.

"What happens then?" the woman asks, sobbing.

"When you get to that other side, there's only one thing waiting -- joy."

Those wanting that feeling are looking for some help -- and God, does Wyatt understand how they feel. After all, it's impossible for him to forget his very first client. This guy was the toughest bastard he's ever worked with, and he almost made Wyatt give up on everything.

That man was Wyatt himself. . . .

Rediscovered

I just rediscovered a recording of a Life changing radio interview that I did at the beginning of 2007. I wasn’t even sure if it was still available, but I am glad that it is and I am providing the link so that you may listen to it.

I received the following e-mail from the host of the radio show ‘NOT at NIGHT’ after I was interviewed and also had given her my e-book "BEing The Titus Concept" as a gift.

"Hey Al,

I got to page 24 last night and what I think is that YOU GAVE AWAY PART OF THE BOOK TO US LAST NIGHT. Those of us who were listening and those of us who are downloading.

As the next part of the e-book is a review of the 3-steps I intend to revisit that as a part of me is resisting some memories and I had the thought to repeat the process anyway.

I want you to know that your energy really DID come through last night because James Gilmore, the guy who gave me your book, the guy who resists exercises like the plague, told me last night that he is doing the 30-day mirror work AND he is going through The Titus Concept and intends to do the 3-step process!!! That is AMAZING in and of itself. You have no idea. I have known James for 14 years and he doesn't go for doing the work himself, he likes going to energy workers, healers, readers, etc and letting them 'zap' him as he puts it. Again, you had impact!

I have ceiling to wall mirrors in what used to be the dining room and I go through that room several times a day. Today I caught my reflection, backed up, smiled at myself and told me, "I love you unconditionally" and "I honor who you are and what you are."

All For One & One For All

IT WAS THREE days after I met with her that I realized Grandmother Twylah Hurd Nitsch is a small woman. Her fathomless eyes, her great good humor and the magnitude of the peace that effortlessly flows from her heart convey a physical presence that reaches far beyond her diminutive frame. She is warm beyond measure, mercurial and deeply connected to the Earth.
Daughter of a Seneca mother and an Oneida/Scots father, Grandmother Twylah is a direct descendent of Chief Red Jacket, a renowned Seneca orator whose discourses are still studied by scholars today. The Seneca are one of the original members of the Five Nation Peace League known as the Iroquois Confederacy and are the acknowledged philosophers of the League. Seneca society is composed of various clans. Grandmother Twylah's clan, the Wolf Clan, teaches the wisdom, philosophy and prophecy of earth history, namely that all creatures -- all creation -- are members of the one family born of Mother Earth, and that our destiny is to reclaim that Oneness. Her family has been teaching the wisdom-traditions of the elders since the 1700's.
Born in 1913 on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation in upstate New York, Gram, as she is often called, was raised by her grandparents, Medicine Man Moses Shongo and his wife Alice, and trained to become the Lineage Holder of Seneca wisdom and leader of the Wolf Clan Teaching Lodge. This role was prophesied before her birth and assumed after her grandfather's passing -- when she was just nine years old.

As a young woman, Gram worked for a time as a jazz musician, singing and playing the drums, and was once invited to sing with Jimmy Dorsey's hand. She married and raised five children. When she began to teach, Gram brought students into her home to live with her family and learn the ancient ways first-hand. As her work grew, she formed the Seneca Indian Historical Society, a school without walls, and began disseminating her teachings through a home study correspondence course and holding semi-annual councils and workshops around the world. True to her Seneca name of Yeh-Weh-Node -- "She Whose Voice Rides on the Four Winds" -- she has single-handedly spread her ancestral teachings to Australia, Africa, Holland, Germany, Poland, Canada, Isr'l, Russia, Japan, the British Isles, Italy and the United States. In April of 1999, she received the prestigious North American Living Treasures Award in recognition of her life's work.

I first heard about Gram from a friend who is a great admirer of her teachings. I knew little about her then, but something about her beckoned me, stirred pristine images within me of walking barefoot on the loamy trails of an ancient Redwood forest. I had a hard time finding her for she had recently moved from her home on the reservation to live with her son Bob, the future Lineage Holder of the Wolf Clan Teaching Lodge and the current President of the Seneca Indian Historical Society. Eventually, I contacted her publisher who forwarded my invitation to participate in this project on to her. Several weeks later, Bob phoned. They were preparing to leave for a European lecture tour, but he offered me one brief window of time to meet with Gram and I jumped at the chance. I made my travel arrangements that day and one month later, met with Gram, Bob, and Lee Clark, Bob's wife and the Society's Program Coordinator, at their home in Jacksonville, Florida.

Driving from the airport to Gram's modest ranch home in the neo-wilds of suburban Jacksonville, is no easy task. As a result of a car accident, I have immense difficulty with linear thinking and in perceiving spatial relationships. Though I have written out every step-by-minute-step of the drive, I cannot track even my own directions and must ask for help at least a dozen times en route. I talk to myself as if I am the little engine that could -- "I think I can. I think I can. I think I can." -- and it helps, but the glue that holds me together, that actually keeps my frustration in check, is my heartfelt longing to be with Gram. This provides me with an important key to managing the impotence I feel whenever my cognitive dissymmetry will leave me geographically or mentally adrift: Now I know that staying in my heart, that connecting to someone or something that fills me with meaning and purpose, can propel me to the other side of oblivion.

I arrive at her front door relatively unscathed, take a deep breath, then climb out of the car. Bob greets me with a firm handshake and ushers me inside, past a desk piled high with educational materials, into the simply furnished living room, a room pulled together by a man who has little interest in material things beyond the practical necessities. He introduces me to Lee who welcomes me warmly, then excuses herself to get Gram. For a moment I blanch, wondering if there's some protocol I must follow when greeting a tribal elder, but my concern evaporates when Gram enters the room. Her long white hair is woven into two braids that sit on top of her head like a crown. Her face is weathered, etched by time. She wears a cardigan over a simple cotton dress and tennis shoes. Lee introduces us and Gram looks squarely at me with crystal-clear gray eyes. She opens her arms in an embrace, and I step inside. I feel as if I am a lost child come home.

We all chat for a few minutes about the tribulations of cross-country travel. Gram is surprised to learn that I came from California to talk with her "I can not imagine why anyone would want to come all that way just to talk with me," she says as she sits down on the couch. I settle in on the floor at her feet with my questions and recording equipment fanned out before me. Once I'm situated, I look up at her and smile. She returns my grin. Lee retreats into her office and Bob hunkers clown at his desk nearby. Gram and I talk for a few minutes about the fact that we are wearing the same tennis shoes. Then we go from the mundane to the sublime as I ask my first question:

All the great religious teachings presuppose that the everyday world and our individual consciousness are manifestations of an underlying Divine reality. The Hindus call it Brahmin, the Buddhists call it One Mind, the Christians call it The Kingdom of Heaven. What do you call it?
"The Seneca call it Swen-i-o, The Great Mystery. Great Mystery is everywhere. It has no one particular form or manifestation, no criteria or rules that limit or define it. It is present in all creation and is beyond matter. It is spiritual energy, spiritual intelligence, the original source and the creator of all life forms, of all existence. It is the essence of all things."

The word "mystery" intrigues me -- the implications of complexity and secrecy -- and I ask her to tell me more about this.

"When something is mysterious," she says, "there is an energy, a magnetism about it that draws you to it, that makes you want to know more about it. It propels you to ask questions, to explore and, hopefully, to learn. Eventually you understand that you can not grasp the totality of Great mystery, your Creator, with the small mind, with the logical, linear mind. Great Mystery can only be understood and remembered through the experience of Oneness:'

You said Great mystery has no one specific form. Does it manifest to each person in the way that most appeals to them?

"It can. It's very personal. Once Great Mystery nips you, you follow the way you are shown."

What kind of a relationship do you have with Great Mystery?

"It's an energy that lives within me constantly, It calls to me internally and prompts me to develop or expand specific information or insights for myself and for others. It talks to me through my mental processes, through my intuition and feelings, and through inner visions. Great Mystery both sends and receives -- it's a two-way street. I talk to Great Mystery all the time and Great Mystery responds."

She is quiet for a moment, then adds, "I once asked Great Mystery for more understanding about this way of communication and the answer I received was, 'We speak the universal language of love.' Hail-lo-way-an is the word Great Mystery used to describe it.
"Everyone has experiences of being inwardly guided like this," she says, "but most of us simply don't honor the information we're given. We say, 'Not now,' and let the guidance pass, because we do not want to take the time to enter the silence."

What is "entering the silence"?

"It's communion with your true nature in spirit, mind and body. When you enter the silence, you go through an inner portal into the unity of all life. The more you go into the silence, the more you learn about your true self and your capacity to function in society. You can't just say 'I want to go through the portal,' and off you go. You have to become receptive; your purpose and intention must be pure. That's why most of us don't go there. Initially, it takes work."

It sounds a little like meditation.

"Well, that depends on how you interpret meditation," she replies. "Going into the silence is listening within. I have a feeling that when some people meditate, they are busy concentrating on a process or they are daydreaming. They are doing instead of listening. I sometimes sit in a chair in a comfortable position when I go into the silence, but that's where any similarity to meditation ends.
"When I go into the silence. I have something specific I want to discuss with Great Mystery or with my Band Members, the friends and relatives in the spirit realm who serve as my teachers and guides. To go into the silence, you must first enter what the Seneca call your 'Sacred Space'."

What and where is your Sacred Space?

"Imagine a dot in the center of a circle that is located at the solar plexus. This dot represents what we call your Vibral Core, the home of your inner wisdom, balance and stability. A vertical line that starts just above the head and ends just below the feet dissects the Vibral Core. This is your Truth Line. Another line extends horizontally as far as the arms can reach on either side of the body and intersects the Truth Line also at the Vibral Core. This line represents your Earthpath. The endpoints of the Truth Line and the Earthpath rest on the circumference of a circle. Inside that circle is your Sacred Space."

I close my eyes and visualize what Gram has just described. When I open my eyes again, she is smiling at me.

"In the North, at the twelve o'clock position of the circle, rests your wisdom; in the East, at the three o'clock position, rests your integrity; in the South, at the six o'clock position, rests your stability; and in the West, at the nine o'clock position, rests your dignity. When anything negative enters your Sacred Space -- such as an inharmonious thought or a disagreeable person -- it disrupts your peace and harmony. You become unbalanced and things begin to get difficult. The only way to restore harmony is to act with wisdom, integrity, stability and dignity."
Wisdom. Integrity. Stability. Dignity. I take these words in each time I edit this piece, breathe them into me so that I can move them beyond the ideational realm and make them a part of how I operate in the world. I ask myself: What do these qualities now look like in my life? How can I develop them more fully? How do they relate to each other? To my needs and my desires? I see this questioning as being integral to living my life with more effectiveness and meaning. Gram explains why this is so.
"If you continue to avoid Truth Within, your difficulty lasts longer and hurts more because it also affects Love Within and Peace Within. Eventually, your pain compels you to grab hold of the Truth you tossed aside so you can integrate it into your life and remember the experience of Oneness with all creation that is locked inside your Vibral Core at birth. Hopefully, this experience will provide you with the understanding that prevents you from making the same mistake over again. But you will continue to learn through opposites until you remember that you are a part of the unity of all life."

Learn through opposites?

"Yes. You confront the opposite of Truth so that you can learn Truth."

Oh, yes, I say, and roll my eyes, for I have ample experience of my own opposites. I have learned to be more honest with myself, to be more proactive, to take time for personal renewal -- the list is endless -- as a result of an intimate communion with the silver-tongued converse of each of these behaviors.
Gram looks at me with a twinkle in her eye as I say this and chuckles. In your book, Other Council Fires Were Here Before Ours, you wrote about the fallout that occurs when we lose that deeper connection to Truth and have to learn through opposites, how we "... unconsciously project our sense of separation from the unity of all life out onto the world and see it as broken." In the heat of battle, most of us rail against the opposition -- whomever or whatever is outside of us -- rather than try to reconnect with our inner Truth.

"Yes. Once the bonds of Love Within are broken and you begin to operate outside of your Sacred Space, you forget that you and all of life are a part of Great Mystery and that Great Mystery loves all creatures equally and unconditionally. When you are no longer aware of your true nature, you feel threatened by anyone or anything that is different from you; so, in an attempt to restore your own balance, you make others wrong or the world broken.
"When something inside us needs work, most people generally don't take the time to look at it honestly or deeply enough because, initially it can be a painful exploration. So we hang onto false beliefs, false patterns of self-knowledge because they keep us from making important inner changes or we try to 'fix' others rather than make things right within ourselves.
"Truth Within is sacred. It's whole. It's a positive energy that unifies and feeds the body and the mind. It helps you digest your food, digest your lessons and move through your Earthwalk in a focused and positive manner."
Truth Within is like soul food.
"That's right. And when you live Truth Within, your challenges do not affect you as deeply."

Is Truth Within the same for everyone?

"We each have an individual truth that relates to our gifts, our willingness to develop our gifts, the time and environment were born into, and so on. There's also a Uniworld Truth, a Whole Truth, derived from our oneness with Great Mystery that is the same for everyone. We have to live in accordance with both aspects of Truth to maintain our inner balance. If we don't, that imbalance becomes the part of you others will notice most."
It's also the part of myself I notice most. And, if I'm not living my Truth, I can't be of real service to myself or to others.
"If you really want to help others, be an example," she counsels. "A good example is the best teacher. Others admire you and want to be like you. They sense your inner comfort and want that for themselves."
She leans toward me and says. "It's like this: If you wear a sharp outfit that makes you feel good, yet you can't maintain that comfort and wholeness when you take off the outfit -- or no matter what else you put on -- you've got a problem. Your outside image doesn't ring true. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of people today who feel whole."
I think, these days, more people are working at it though. Sometimes we've got it together, and sometimes we don't.
"That's part of the growth process. We learn in increments because we can take in and hold just so much at one time. Attempting to remain in your truth is better than not trying at all. The main thing is to be open to learning and to learn with a humble attitude. Seek more than immediate or exterior comfort. Be true to yourself. When it's time for you to learn more, Truth is there for the asking. It's always with you. Unity is always with you. All you have to do is recognize it."

What blocks our recognition of Truth and Unity?

"Not knowing Who you really are and not understanding your connection to Great Mystery. Not knowing limits you; it compels you to look to the small mind to sort things out. We know there's 'something more,' we hunger for it, but we haven't the remotest idea what 'more' really is! In our ignorance, we create exhaustion, fear or intentional busyness or we passively let others tell us what to do just so we can have something to use as an excuse for why we're not happy. Once you get distracted and pulled off-center like this, you see only the periphery of Truth. The energy required to navigate through this illusion is immense, often more than we can muster. But the process can be simplified through prayer and willingness to follow Great Mystery's guidance."
She smiles at me and I get the sense that she knows that I am both fierce about my own growth and looking for answers to questions I have not yet named. I am not at all intimidated by this. She is so comfortable to be around, so safe, that I'm happy to let her in. She may see parts of me that aren't particularly attractive, but I intuitively know this doesn't matter to her. She looks out at me, out at the world, from some cavernous core not molded by theory or opinion -- or judgment. I notice how internally quiet I have become just by sitting with her, and I rest for a moment in the Quiet.

Something else I read in her book floats up to the surface of my mind -- her belief that all creatures are Relations, members of one planetary family. Humans, she wrote, are the only Relation unaware of this familial relationship. The animals, the trees, the stones, and so on, have all chosen to endure the harshness of mankind's delusion of separate existence until we remember our unity with all life and can then, all return to Great Mystery together. I tell her how moved I am by the compassion, the patience, of creatures we consider to be "less than."
"The sun and moon, the earth and sky are our family;" she says. "The Earth is our Mother, the sky is our Father. It's Grandfather Sun. Grandmother Moon. White society doesn't feel this connection the way Native people do. They walk the Earth, they eat Her food and drink Her water, they even love Her trees and mountains, but they don't feel their natural bond with the Earth.
"Humans have become pushy and egocentric. We do not know that all life is interdependent. Our other Relations can wait until we remember this Truth because they know that within the challenge of separation, lies the promise of equality and unity."

As I begin to grab hold of these words, Lee emerges from the inner sanctum of her office and suggests we break for lunch. I look at my watch and am surprised to see that three hours have passed. Ten minutes later, the four of us are sitting on stools around the breakfast counter holding hands, each offering Great Mystery our gratitude for something the day has brought. I listen to their effortless words of thanksgiving and when my turn comes, I give thanks for being able to share this day with them. I do not feel as if I am a guest in their home; rather I am a Relation, a member of the family.

The salad Lee prepares is delicious and we laugh and talk as we eat. Lee and Bob giggle as they try to piece together a wonderful story about Gram's visit from the Dali Lama. I get the full report several months later from a student of Gram's who witnessed the event.
It goes like this: During the winter months of 1991, the Dali Lama and an entourage of Buddhist monks visited Gram for two days at her home on the reservation. She often received guests, people from all walks of life, who came to learn more about her teachings and enjoy her warm hospitality. The two spiritual leaders spent many hours in deep conversation about the state of international affairs and exchanged thoughts on their shared desire for world peace. As was her custom, Gram also invited the Dali Lama to visit the twelve-sided Wolf Clan Lodge building located a short distance from her home.

The two elders walked slowly, arm-in-arm, along the ice and snow-covered path to the Lodge, with members of the Dali Lama's party and the Wolf Clan Teaching Lodge following at a respectful distance. Then, without warning, Gram and the Dali Lama slid on a patch of ice, lost their balance and fell, in Gram's words, "butt over tea kettle" on their hacks into the snow. For a few brief moments, no one breathed. Horrified monks and Wolf Clan members engaged in a mad scramble to assist their leaders, but Gram and the Dali Lama just turned to each other and burst out laughing. Then, like two mischievous school children, they each gathered a lump of snow in their hands and initiated a snowball fight. From the little I know of Gram, it is not at all difficult me to picture the event in my head.

After lunch, Gram meanders hack to the couch and I resume my place on the floor. The tape starts to roll as I ask her if there's one precept, a sort of "Golden Rule" she follows, that guides or inspires her.

"My Grandfather taught me to follow the Twelve Cycles of Truth and the pathways of Peace to preserve my wholeness and help me walk in balance and fullfil my life's mission. They are: learn the Truth, honor the Truth, know the Truth, see the Truth, hear the Truth, speak the Truth, love the Truth, serve the Truth, live the Truth, work the Truth, share the Truth and be thankful for the Truth. The Pathway of Peace is living in harmony with this ancient philosophy."

So, if you live in harmony with these cycles, you fulfill your life's mission?

"You fulfill your Earthwalk, your Pathway to Peace, the personal pattern that guides you toward wholeness. Each person must develop their dreams and discipline themselves to achieve what they desire for their life in a way that satisfies Truth Within."

What is your Earthwalk?

Gram looks over at Bob, who is, by now, back at his desk, and chuckles. "Well, my Earthwalk is just about over," she says. "At this time in my life, I'm happy to sit back and take it easy. But when I was a young girl, my elders told me I would carry on the work of my Grandfather Moses Shongo to spread our teachings and help others understand their connection to the earth. My Grandparents also told me I would experience certain disabilities when I grew older that would help me learn how to carry out the work and better understand others. This too, has been part of my Earthwalk. I was crippled to teach me about perseverance, positive thinking and faith in Great Mystery's plan. I was blind to learn to perceive more than what my outer eyes could see and be more sensitive to the energy of others. And I was deaf so I could become aware of a deeper vibration and rhythm of life that extends beyond my sense of hearing."

I make a presumption and say. "Those must have been difficult times." But Gram is on a totally different wave length.

"Actually, they were wonderful times! My elders also told me I would fully recover from these challenges, but I had to do my part and be willing to grow through them. I never lapsed into 'Poor me."
Did you ever have periods of doubt?
"Never."
Lack of faith?
"Never"
No "dark night of the soul"?
"No. Never"

That's amazing! What do you attribute this to?

"To these teachings. Everything that happened to me was just like going to school. Even when I couldn't hear or see, I didn't feel disappointed. I felt like I was being gifted because of what I was learning through the experience.
"When I was a child my elders taught me it was up to me to make myself happy each day, and when I go to bed each night, I should thank Great Mystery for my happiness. Most people don't take responsibility for their own happiness -- it doesn't even enter their heads to do this! And at the end of the day, they're not grateful for the good things that happen to them."

Were your Grandparents your mentors?

"They were my examples. My grandparents raised me before I went off to boarding school. My grandfather was a Seneca Indian Medicine Man. He was always in the woods looking for herbs, and I learned from him how to live in harmony with Nature. Our kitchen constantly smelled like a 'medicine factory,' as he called it. He was a brilliant man. All the doctors in the community were his friends. Sometimes they would send him patients who didn't respond to their medicine. My grandmother was a very quiet person, but when she spoke, her words were packed with meaning.
"Our house was always full of people. My grandparents knew how to make everyone feel comfortable with who they were. I often heard them tell people, 'You were born with these gifts so use them. They showed me how to listen and pay attention to others and to be aware of what was going on around me. They also taught me that I was worthy of having my own ideas and that the answers to my problems lay inside me."

After your Grandfather died, you assumed the responsibility for carrying on his teachings. You were just a young girl at that time. Did you feel prepared for this?

"His passing was a devastating loss to me, but he had been preparing me for this role all my life -- by his example, in everything we did together and in the ancient stories he told me. In our tradition, wisdom is passed on orally. Those who tell the stories are called the Wisdom Keepers or the Storytellers. They are chosen for their ability to listen and speak, so that the people can he sure our wisdom is passed on correctly. That role, like the stories themselves, is passed on from generation to generation. When I die, my son Bob will become the Wisdom Keeper. I have prepared him in the same way my Grandfather prepared me."

What advice, would you give to others seeking to live a more spiritual life?

"Be kind. Do nice things for others; speak kindly about others. If someone does something nice for you, be grateful. Say 'Thank you: Be grateful for every day. Be grateful for waking up. Be grateful for being able to breathe.
"You know," she says, after a moment's pause, "gratitude is actually based on love, and nothing is more powerful than love. It's lack of love, or the misuse of love, that causes many of the problems we have today. People don't appreciate what they have. They don't love and respect themselves or each other. They take without giving anything back. They hide their elders -- the ones who have the most life experience and can be most helpful in guiding them -- in old folks' homes to get them out of the way. No wonder people today are so confused! No wonder people are not happy!
"In order to be happy, you need to develop and share your inner love. That's how it grows. If you're not sharing what you have with others -- your gifts and abilities as well as your material possessions -- if you're not helping others to grow, if you're not a teacher or an example, you're a user. Users don't honor what they have. They don't know how to take care of things so they can be perpetuated. Madison Avenue steps in and tells us to 'Have it your way,' so we push for more. Once we get what we want, we devour it until it's gone. There's no happiness in that," Gram declares and shakes her head.
"Happiness -- inner happiness -- is the goal of life. Most people can't even look at themselves in the mirror and smile! If someone comes to me and tells me they're unhappy, I tell them to examine their feelings and figure out what their limitations are and deal with them! You may have a nice house, a nice car, a good job and make $100,000 a year, but if you have all that stuff and you're still unhappy, you have to ask yourself, "What's wrong with this picture?""
She doesn't mince words. The real question then, I say to her, is how do you foster self-love?
"You have to nourish self-love all the time. If your parents or husband didn't give you the love you wanted, you have to give it to yourself. If something throws you into a slump, look at it right in the eye. Figure out what you didn't see about yourself that allowed that slump to happen, then change it. After all, we live in a do-it-yourself world!" She chuckles once again.

Looking back over your lifetime, what do you think is your greatest accomplishment?

"I really don't know how to answer that. If you were to ask me about my greatest experience, I would say being married and raising my five children. But 'accomplishment' ... I don't know."
She looks at Bob for a way into this question. They talk about this for a while and then she realizes why the question is so difficult for her to answer. "You see, Seneca people gauge accomplishment by where we are on our Earthwalk, how we've developed our natural potentials and shared our gifts. Our elders know we're ready to move forward by the questions we ask. There is no criticism or praise, there is only movement through the labyrinth of experience until we remember Who we really are. A bear wakes up in the morning knowing who he is and what he must do each day. He doesn't 'accomplish,' he just lives in harmony with Great Mystery. This is true for us as well."

OK, I think to myself. Be bear-like: know who I am -- part of the Oneness of all life -- and live in harmony with Great Mystery. It's a good thought to hold on to when I get sucked into the vortex of my To Do list.

When your Earthwalk ends, how would you like to he remembered?

"For greeting people with a smile and for spreading the Seneca Peacemakers' message of 'All for One and One for All'. When you feel your oneness with all life, you carry that with you everywhere you go. You feel centered. Then whatever you do helps others; it unifies life. I believe in these words and honor them by how I live my life. It's really as simple as that."
I look at Gram and smile. Is there anything we didn't cover? Anything else you want to add?
"No," she says. "It's been nice."

It's been nice for me, too. More than nice. I try to thank her but I cannot find the words.
Bob tells me, with an impish smile on his face, how someone once told him that when you don't know what to say, you can always ask the other person if their shoes fit right. We all laugh.

Gram, do your shoes fit right?

"When my stockings don't get all hunched up," she says, and we howl. As I pack up my gear, Bob suggests I listen to the tapes I made of my conversation with Gram to see if anything needs clarification. He invites me to come back the next day to pull together any loose ends. I've so enjoyed being with them, it's an offer I can't refuse. Before I leave, Gram takes me into her room and gives me a "wish pouch" she knitted, a small apple green-colored sack she tells me to fill with my wishes for my life. She walks with me to the door. Gram and Lee hug me good-bye and I drive off to a nearby hotel to spend the night.

That evening, I listen to the tapes and come up with a few questions to ask Gram -- not really enough to warrant another visit, but I'm so glad to have the opportunity to sit at their table again, to hold hands and express my gratitude at being a part of their sweet family, that I return for a few hours the next morning. At noon, I pack up my gear, and Gram and Lee walk me to the front door and hug me goodbye for the last time. Though I know I can call up the comfort I have felt here whenever I think of her, I am reluctant to leave. Gram smiles at me and gives me one last gentle word of counsel: "Remember the Peacemakers' message: All for One and One for All."
I nod and return her smile. My voice catches in my throat as I say goodbye, then I turn and walk out the door.

Signs from the other side

I have taken my time to post this… I guess because I was waiting for the inspired words to write about the subject matter that this post is all about. The fact you are reading it tells me there is something in this post for you also.

I have heard in movies and from others that say there are signs everywhere, and that they are here to support you, guide you, and even assist you. But in order for any of that to happen we have to be aware and open to receive, accept, and experience them.

Somewhere along the line a few years ago I became aware and open to Life’s signs of support, guidance and assistance, and everyday my awareness grows and everyday I see, hear and understand more of them.

I was blessed to have some of the greatest gifts or signs recently happen in my Life. It all began on the evening of April 16th when my mom transitioned that afternoon and it was her time to go home of the Creator. To some degree my family and I were expecting this to happen sometime this year, but we just didn’t know when.

To be honest there were many signs that were presented to me and with most I only realized the significance after some time and reflection, and I will share a few with you.

Not long ago my mom lived with us and outside of her bedroom sliding glass door was a garden of roses that she loved, every time they would blossom my mom was thrilled and delighted at the sight and smell of roses, usually though there would be about a dozen roses among all of the rose bushes.

On the evening of the 16th the electricity in our master bedroom went out and my wife jokingly said that this was my mom doing. I went outside to go and check out the breaker box which meant I had to walk past the rose bushes that I mentioned earlier and noticed in the darkness that the bushes had a lot of color in them. After I had taken care of our electrical issue, I again had to walk past the rose bushes and this time consciously paused to literally see dozens upon dozens of roses everywhere! My wife and I stood there in awe looking at this amazing sight and smell. Never in the time we have lived in our home had this ever happened.

A few days later after the funeral services we had a gathering of friends and family at our home where I was going to present a surprise and opportunity for all in attendance. We gave everyone a white helium inflated balloon and had them write a message to my mom. As we were preparing to finally let them all go at once, we looked up and saw a hawk who was floating motionless right above us and staring right down at us, and that is all it did! We all just stood there and stared at the hawk while it stared at us until about 4-5 minutes later I decided it was time to let the balloons go.

Most of the balloons stayed bunched up as the afternoon breeze ushered them skyward, but once they got close by and to the level of the hawk the balloons paused for about a minute and just stayed there. After that minute the balloons went on and passed the hawk to form a Heart and then reconfigure into a smiling face with eyes, nose and mouth, and heading skyward.

This magnificent experience was seen and felt by about 40-50 of us, and today we are all still talking about it and what our perceptions were of the whole event.

Though I won’t go into full detail I know that everything that I have indicated in this post are signs to guide, support and assist me from this day forward and through my mom’s transition.

The hawk being a gift from God read all the messages when the balloons paused in front of him, and the hawk became the messenger for all of us that day.

My message to my mom:
I love you mom!
Together let’s rock!!
For the best and highest good of all…

The Children of the Next 1000 Years

The story you are about to read is true, but it is also unusual. So much so that if you do not have an open mind, it will seem impossible. And if you don't have an open heart, it will not be understood so that the meaning can be lived.

Over the last few years I have been to the Yucatan several times working with the Mayan shaman Hunbatz Men. He has been performing the ceremonies of the ancient Mayan priests in modern day times to bring in and stabilize the new energies of our sun, energies that have never before entered into the Earth and altering the way we perceive life. His work is very important to the unfoldment of the new world on Earth, and to the birthing of our new consciousness.

A few months ago a man named Ellis, who used to work closely with Hunbatz Men came to me and began to tell me this story. He said that in Columbia there was an aboriginal tribe deep in the Amazon jungle called the Kogi. They had no language and "spoke" only telepathically to each other. In truth they made little sounds, but these sounds were not logically arranged into any pattern such as an alphabet. They were just sounds, but these sounds came from the heart not the mind and created images inside your head, and you could "see" what the other person was communicating. Ellis said that they were able to "travel" out of body clearly and knew everything that was happening around the world, though they had never physically left their homeland. They had never even tried to communicate with the outside world, except to a very fortunate few.

The Kogi do not see us as "sleeping" as many of the Hindu and Oriental religions perceive us. The Kogi see us as "dead". We are not alive, but only shadows of the energy we could be. We do not have enough life force energy and consciousness to be classified by them as real people.
And the Kogi believed with the use of their psychic abilities, they could see the future clearly. And what they saw was similar to what many other tribes around the world saw, a world that was about to be destroyed by the misuse of consciousness.

So sometime ago they traveled over the whole world in their light bodies searching for anyone who is alive. And in the whole world they could only find one other tribe who were Mayan that lived far in the jungles of Guatemala. They were so happy to find someone else who was alive.
But the Kogi belief, their prophesy, was that with the coming of the Eclipse on August 11th of 1999, all the world would stop and only the Kogi and this one other Mayan tribe would survive to inhabit the Earth. This is why they were so happy to find someone else other than themselves who understood.

Then when the eclipse slowly revealed its face on the 11th of August, it became apparent to the Kogi that something had happened since the time they had searched the world for life. Something that they could not understand for the "great change" had happened, and we, the "dead" ones were still here. We should have dissolved back into the Dream. Not that they wanted us to, that was not their nature. It simply should have happened.

So the Kogi set out to find out why the "dead ones" were still on Earth, and as they searched the living vibrating records of this Reality, they found exactly where and why it had happened. Some of the "dead ones" had become alive, and had created a dream with enough life force to "save the world" as we know it. In our terms, some of us had created a "parallel world" where life could continue to grow, a world where the "dead" could become alive. The Kogi were so specific to locate exactly who these people were that were creating this change that had altered the world's destiny.

The Kogi saw these people with living bodies of light around them. People who had activated their "Light Bodies" or in the ancient terms, their "Mer-Ka-Ba". Since I was one of the teachers of this information, the Kogi sent a messenger to Ellis and from Ellis to me. They sent me a small amount of tobacco wrapped in a bright red piece of cotton, and simply said "Thank you".

A couple months later, the Kogi sent Ellis another gift to give to me with a message. The gift was a small ball of dark and sticky tree sap about the size of a plum. It smelled of the jungle. There was an energy around this gift of sap that I could feel deep inside me. I felt the connection in my heart.

The message was that they were going to send someone to me to teach me how to speak without words so that we could communicate. They then said that once connection and communication had taken place, they would ask that I enter into the Colombian jungle and visit their tribe. And that if I would visit their world, they would visit mine. They would then be prepared to come out of the jungle, for the first time in the history of their tribe, and go on world television, no less, and talk to us.

Whatever "talk" means since they have no language that we know, I am not sure. And what it is that they have to say, I also do not know. But through this little piece of tree sap, I am beginning to feel.

After Ellis left on this second visit, I sat and thought about this whole event. Was it true that the Kogi could see this clearly into the Reality? Were they really going to send someone to me to teach me how to speak without words? What was this really all about? I meditated with the angles, but they only approved what was happening, but would not give me information or assist.

Then last month in November, I gave an Earth/Sky workshop in Mexico and about 100 people came from all over Mexico, Central and South America, and one of the countries that many people came from was Columbia. And from this group, there was this young lady whose name I will keep quite to protect her.

She was different than any of the other Colombians. Whenever we entered into sacred space and could feel the presence of God, she would begin to seemingly go crazy with ecstasy. Not that that was really unusual, but it was extreme.

This woman would become primal. Her whole body would begin to shake and a different person would emerge out of her with a different feeling to her words and different body language. I watched her, looking for the reason why she had come to this work and looking for a way to help her.

Then on the last day of the workshop it happened. The group had formed one great circle, and we were singing to God. This lady broke away from the circle and began to dance primitively and unashamed within the center of the circle. She abandoned herself and seemed to lose control. I went over to her and took her hand to comfort her, and she grasped my hand and looked deep into my eyes and made a soft and longing sound. The sound went straight to my heart and vibrated inside my very center, and I could "see" what she was saying. I had never experienced anything quite like this before. I didn't understand at that moment what was really happening, my heart simply reacted.

I took her outside the circle and sat down facing her. Then she made another "sound", and my body responded with another similar "sound" that had never come from me before. Instantly, we were speaking in a new and profound manner that was so beautiful, so complete. It made all the languages of the world seem inadequate and obsolete. For two hours we communicated in images of full color and depth with all the sensory completeness of real life. I learned so much. I learned about life, and I learned about this woman within a woman.

She showed me with her sounds where she had come from, a small village next to the Kogi tribe. She showed me her husband and her three children. I know them like they were my family. She showed me around her village where I met two other older men who were from the Kogi. She showed me how her tribe had asked her to enter this woman's body and to come and see me. She was instructed to teach me how to speak without words. She was told that once she had done this one thing, then she could leave this woman's body and come back home and be back with her family. She missed her husband and children very much. I could "see" how when this lady returned home she would leave her body. I could see her own body lying in a pile of grass inside a grass hut waiting for this moment.

When I returned home, I saw my wife Claudette, who I love so much, in a new light. I loved her in a way that was different, because I could hear the sounds coming from her heart. I could see her pain, and I could see her joy. I was so happy for this experience with the Kogi, but I still didn't know what was happening to me.

It seemed to just bring a great anticipation of something to come.

Then two weeks ago I gave an Earth/Sky workshop in Maryland. While I was setting up and preparing for the workshop, I told this story to a woman named Diane who was facilitating the workshop. She asked if I would demonstrate these sound. And I agree to do so.

We sat facing each other, and I asked her to close her eyes. Then a sound came from my heart and at the same moment an image appeared within my mind.

It was a full image of a large cat, a puma, walking along the edge of the Amazon near the water. Then it jumped up onto a tree and began to walk along the edge of a long and heavy branch that slowly sloped down to the ground. It jumped back to the ground and continued to walk along the edge of the water. I opened my eyes.

All of this took only about one minute.

I asked her what she saw, and she began to tell me exactly what I had seen. She described it perfectly. A joy emerged from my heart.

I then asked her to again close her eyes. Another slow and strange sound came from my heart, and instantly another image. I not only "saw" but experienced what seemed like myself, floating out of the woman's body from Colombia and rising high up into the air. Then I felt myself begin to fly very fast over the jungle.

I could see the trees moving rapidly under me. Quickly I approached a village, and I felt myself getting lower to the ground and heading for a specific grass hut. In the next instant I was inside the body of this tribal woman looking out of her eyes. She knew I was there. She did not mind, it was suppose to happen.

Her husband quickly took hold of her/me and was obviously happy that she/I had returned. He knew also that I was there, and was also very happy. Then all three of her children ran up and began to hug her and love her. The youngest one reached in and began to suck on her breast. It was a very moving experience to meet this family that I didn't know and yet I did. Then I opened my eyes.

I waited a moment to center from this experience, and then asked Diane what she saw. She began by saying that she experienced herself as a "bug" coming out of this woman's body. And then she lifted up into the sky and began to fly over the trees of a jungle. She watched as we went down to the grass hut and met the "family". She saw perfectly.

I sat quiet for a long time. I could feel this was a gift of unparalleled value. But what did it mean to the me or the world? All of this was such an unusual experience that I still do not know what this means.

When I returned home from the Maryland workshop, every night for the first seven or eight days, I would find myself dreaming that I was "home" in this village.

The dream would last all night long with a complete memory of the dream the next morning. I would dream that I was doing my chores in the village, and living my life. Taking care of my children and husband. Many, many men from both tribes would come up to me and ask questions with sounds that made images. These people were beautiful and yes "alive". I understood why they saw us as "dead". I could "feel with the sight of my heart" what they meant. I knew they meant to help if they could. They were amazed that I was there. So was I.
Now, it is only the beginning. The Kogi are excited about the way we are growing. They want to come to us. God willing, they will.

They have asked me now to give you a message in your language if you can accept it. You who have discovered your light bodies and are changing the world by your lives.

"You are changing the world into light. Be not afraid of your innocence and your child nature, it is close to God. Let your imagination soar into a Dream where love surrounds all events, then "see" it as real. Let the sounds of your hearts talk to those who are not alive. You have shown them the way by your example, now "show" them the way from within. Listen, and your heart will speak. We are with you now. We will help you.".

May the next 1000 years be golden, and may the innocent children lead the way.

Mijo is this magic?

The title of this post is a question my mom asked me when we came home after she received wonderful news from two of her doctors. In Spanish it means “Son is this magic?”.

Here is the story…

On April 2004 I moved my mom into my home, and at that time she was suffering from depression, had a stroke a few months earlier, beginning stages of Alzheimer’s, her mobility was degrading, and she had rheumatoid arthritis or RA.

By January 2005 she had become a different person and much healthier, her depression was gone, no signs of a stroke, Alzheimer’s was staying at the beginning stages, her mobility upgraded, and her RA was improving.

All of this was taking place by guiding her to take command of her Life, and that everything she had gone through was brought on by her own self. She resisted that last concept, but she was amazed at the improvement.

A few months later in mid April 2005 my mom began a cough that would not go away and at the end of the month we took her to urgent care to make sure she was ready to go on a trip with us. She ended up getting admitted to the hospital with her left lung filled with some unknown fluid, and three days later she was diagnosed with Lymphoma (cancer).

A week later she was in the hospital getting her first round of chemo.

That first day I was in the hospital room with her and looking at her with tubes and needles in both arms, and seeing a very angry and confused woman, physically trying to remove herself from the hospital bed, and yelling at me 'Why are you trying to kill me?!'

I got to the point where I bowed my head and closed my eyes, and asked Spirit why is this happening? Everything was going so well, why now? I couldn't understand. I told Spirit 'I have done everything you have asked of me', 'I don't understand!'

I looked up at my mom who was angrily ignoring me, took a deep breath and said "Spirit where is the Love in all this? Where is the opportunity in all this? Where is the blessing in all this?" 'I don't understand, but I TRUST you will show me'.

Sometime in July 2005 I had fallen asleep and took a power nap, I woke up with my whole body vibrating, in the ensuing weeks my Life began to shift with amazing clarity, and in August 2005 the clarity of The Titus Concept came to me.

September 2005 is the sixth round of chemo for mom, and on October 2005 the doctor tells my mom and I she is in full remission from Lymphoma, with the added blessing from her other doctor that the chemo also put her RA in remission. That evening after we had called our family members and told them the good news, she looked at me and said ‘Mijo is this magic?’, I just replied and said ‘This is all you mom, you did it’.

We all celebrated Christmas 2005 with mom in better health and more vibrant than pre-lymphoma, to the point where she moved from my home in California February 2006 to go back to Texas to spread her new vibrant Light.

Though she didn’t fully understand what transpired for her to be healthy, she just knew it worked.

You see, from August to October my mom and I before she would go to bed every night would say to each other 'For our best and highest good'(premise for The Titus Concept), and that became her perception. To be honest she did question it in the beginning, even asking ‘How could this be for my best and highest good?’, and especially after losing her hair.

But from the moment I asked those questions in that hospital room, I have had numerous opportunities, tons of blessings, and been fully surrounded by Love.

That day I shifted the energy within me, just as my mom did every night before she went to bed.

Together we created miracles…

Command your Life.
How do you command your Life?
Empower your Self.

It is time. You deserve it.

The title of the blog is Ilumine Ao which is a combination of Spanish and Hawaiian and literally translates in English to Illuminate Light.

That is my intention.
